The story starts off mildly entertaining, but its lack of real depth becomes apparent the further you go. The great hope for a good story fostered in the beginning quickly soured as we are presented with one generic trope/situation after another. If that wasn't all, I wouldn't mind it if the tropes were done well, but no. The plot was written in a way comparable to the cheapest of beer when I'm looking for a fine wine or at least above-average beer. The only reason this story didn't get a one star is because: 1. Art isn't that bad. 2. There are many, many, many worse stories on webnovel that I need to reserve the 1 star for.

The story is gripping. The characters are enrapturing. I don't like clueless dumb Female leads. But here, Jing Yiren is innocent and child like because of her age but she is very smart. Hence she carries the characteristics and moments of both kinds of leads. Its very funny. The male lead, Mr. Lu is perfect as well. Doting, caring, protective. Good dude.

Attractive characters, a fighter as a female lead. A gentle and mature Male lead. Story seems good. Captivating. Can be given a try for sure.

I cannot support a story that romanticize pedophilia. Imperial Uncle obviously was attracted to Jing Yiren when she was still a kid. Disgusting. And even in modern times he most attracted to her when she act like a child. Author what the heck. I used to love this story, you sexualize Jing yiren's innonence. I know she was reborn as a 20 year old women, but her mentally is of that of 14 year old girl. I expected them to actually be together when she come of age mentally, but no, you didnt allow a time gap. I wish I can report this story.
