Whatever was happening now has been foretold twenty years ago.

The destruction of the earth's surface, and the introduction of an inevitable, deadly plague that would cause human evolution.

Whoever had foretold this is dead by now, and fortunately, could not experience when planet earth would finally come to a non-existent.

In the middle city of Manvesa, the eighth largest country by population in the world, the earth's surface made small creaks that were unnoticeable to the people living around.

After some minutes, a larger creak filled the air, and then suddenly, from the small broken lines that had been made in the main road, sudden water emitted from them.

As the water wet the earth's surface, a small boy holding hands with his mother noticed the wetness of his shoes, however, as he looked at the ground to know what it could be, a huge, thin, and bony hand forced out from the breakage and expanded it. As it did, it phalanges held around the little boy's ankle.

The boy stopped walking and his mother halted with a frown.

As the mother decided to ask her son what was wrong, she heard a sudden scream from him. However, before she could react, the bony phalanges that were tightly held around his leg drew him and he got swallowed by the ground.

Seeing this, the mother yelled for help. Some passersby turned their attention towards the crazy woman, however, their attention was quite short because they decided to ignore the noisy woman.

The broken ground widened and without any help, the woman got sucked into the ground next.

"There shall be a day when only magic will save us. There shall be a day when the earth shall experience a breakdown and a global contagion. That day, I shall not exist anymore."

Those words were said by a young man who was known to be a man sick in the brain.

Truth be told and according to what he had foretell when this crisis began to fill the earth, he didn't exist anymore.

On March 26, 2010, a man named James Parker performed the ever-hidden act of magic in public. A day later, he was said to have been burnt by a group of people, who declared him an agent of the devil for possessing powers of evil.

Unknown to them, many mages kept themselves hidden from the world that did not regard magic.

James Parker truly did not live to the time when the world is turned upside down.

As the earth's surface broke apart slowly, everyone began hurling.

Many people thought it was an earthquake, while most of them who had seen strange hands creeping off the earth's surface and dragging legs into the ground knew it wasn't so and that it was the act of monsters.

After some moments, the earth's surface suddenly divided into two.

This incident only happened in the capital city of USM.

As the earth's surface split into two, those monsters whose hands had one way or the other show through the ground, gained full strength as if they had been strengthened by the meat of the humans they had dragged into the ground. By now, they had their feet right on the earth's surface.

These actions were many and they created huge noises as they did.

Many people started running helter-skelter as their eyes fell on the strange creatures that kept sprouting throughout the earth's surface. As they did, the part of the place they had gotten out from immediately became closed as if nothing had happened initially.

The creatures as they landed on the ground, walked on the earth's surface.

Their whole body was dripping as if they came out from the deepest part of the ocean.

These creatures were huge and tall. Their heads were ten feet apart from the ground and their bodies could be mistaken as a human's own, except for their heads which had two horns, and their body which could be seen as possessing metallic appearances.

As they walked on the earth's surface, their feet kicked everything they saw. Including vehicles that were running in marathons.

In a white Toyota, a woman with a heavy belly was riding, and in the back seat were two boys around the same age.

"Mum, I'm scared!"

"Calm down, son. We are going to survive this!" The woman screamed from the front seat as she now rode the car in frustration and fear.

They had spotted a monster at their back and they were doing all their possible best to escape but they just couldn't because the faster she drove, the nearer the monster seemed to be.

"Mum, it is staring at me!" The other boy, sitting on the left-hand side shouted as he looked beside him through the glass.

"What, Dani? What did you say?!" The woman shouted but kept riding with her whole spirit, however, she abruptly stopped when the sound of glass shattering swallowed her earlobes.

She turned to the back and fear gripped her whole when she spotted her child missing.

"Dani!"

The remaining boy kept screaming and he hid under.

The pregnant woman knew not what happened until she opened the door.

"Mum, don't go!"

"I will be right back, Rani!" She shouted back at the other.

When she got out completely from the car, the woman froze when she saw her son high up in the monster's hand.

She couldn't move even though by now, the monster was standing right in front of her. She couldn't think anymore when she saw the monster grab onto her son's body and then, after biting him, he dropped him down.

However, the other boy who had been hiding came out and immediately switched his seat to the front.

Once he was now balanced, without thinking and out of fear, he started the car and then off he went.

Leaving the heavily pregnant woman, who was in turn, ready to be feasted on by the monster.

The monster carried her and then took a bite from her protruding stomach, thinking the blood supply would be more. He dropped her to the ground after a few seconds.

Meanwhile, the boy who had been dropped to the ground the first time after a moment of staying still shook vigorously before standing up while his bones shifted making crackling sounds.

And thereby, he was either the first or second zombie to be created.

The monster, after dropping the pregnant woman, walked away and continued his mission.

These monsters had multiplied greatly and filled the entire city of Landoney.

By now, at 15:15, these monsters were fifty-seven in number and they seemed not to be increasing anymore.

Instead, they were decreased as many guns were fired at them and they dropped dead after receiving a lot of bullets on their foreheads, however, though these monsters were reduced, the monsters they had created now filled a quarter part of the city of Landoney.

These new creatures were called Zombies.

And they were going to hunt down the humans.

They were going to turn everyone to themselves.
