Kai P.O.V

Another day in this office with more paper work, this has been really hard on my own.

I wish Kuro would just come back already I'm getting sick of this, even promised Kaiya I would be home on time, and if I don't there will be hell to pay.

I take a deep sigh, stand up and look over the busy streets from my office. I notice a woman with extremely bright white hair, it's so bright I could notice her out of an entire crowd of people. She just walked out of the café across my building.

I hate that building, it ruins my view, what in the world is a piece of trash company even doing in the same street as me. I keep trying to buy out the old man and he's too stubborn, he's not making enough to stay in this lane so where does he get the money?

I doubled his rent and he's still standing, if he doesn't get out soon I will have to make him move the hard way. He's really ruining my image, photo's of my building should look beautiful from every angle.

Tch.

His funeral.

Literally.

I grab my jacket and make my way to the café. The white head from earlier is back, she's wearing the uniform. I clear my throat since she's on the phone behind the desk.

No answer.

Seriously? How is this place still standing?

I look around and it's as empty as ever. No one bothers with this place, are they just using it as a cover up for a secret organisation? That could be the only reason they are still here, because as far as I'm concerned it always says closed here.

When I question them about it they tell me about their peak hours and delivery service. What are they delivering? The coffee machine isn't even on.

"You want something, suit and tie?" The white head asks still scrolling on her phone. She never even looked up at me when talking.

This level of disrespect is honestly unfathomable, when a customer walks in they should be given full attention, and what does she mean by 'want something' isn't that the only reason anyone would come in here?

"Raena sweet heart, mind at least acting like you need this job." The old man that owns the place pleads softly with the young female who scoffs in turn. I notice the old man sighing before he approaches the front desk and hands me a menu.

"You know I'm not here as a customer. You said you would deal with the outstanding rent money your nephew owes me, it's three months worth, plus interest."

"How much?" The white head intrudes and I roll my eyes at her, this is none of her business. She repeats herself still not looking my way at all.

"475 000 dollars, plus interest of 15 000." I reply.

She nods before making her way to the back room, momentarily after she returns with two suitcases, slides it over to me, and smiles before looking back at her phone.

The old man knocks her on the top of her head, "What did I say about your slouching? Give me twenty push-ups and no breaks in between this time."

She grumbles and gets on the floor doing the push-ups. Perfect form and good pace, looks like she can do 20 in one go.

"Damn slacker." The old man mutters under his breathing watching her vigilantly with his arms crossed. He turns to me and smiles cheekily. This doesn't make sense, I'm gonna find out where he gets his money and I will put him out of business.

I smell a rat, a soon to be dead one at that.
