Vedha and Aditya (3)

Aditya smiles in adoration and never took his eyes off her till she disappears in a corner.

He smirks taking out a ring box from his pocket. Those rings belonged to his parents. They are the only thing left behind by his family before leaving him alone in this world.

At the car parking.

Vedha opens the car door in the worst mood and starts searching for the damn wallet.

"I swear! He will pay for this!"

She frowns "It's not here...Let me search the back seat. I won't even spare his injured leg if I don't find his wallet here".

She gets out from the car and slams the front door expressing her sour mood. She is about to open the backdoor.

BHOOOOOM!

She was slammed on the car window on right side of her face by a great force from behind. The glasses were shattered by the force and the loud sound deafening her ears already. It felt as if someone slammed her whole body against the car from behind.

She glides down slowly from the impact and falls on her knees in ground. It took few minutes for her to get out from the effect.

Before she could think or react the sounds of siren and ambulances fills the place.

She brings her shivering hands to support herself from the ground and stands with her weak legs which are wobbling now.

She gulps and blinks before turning behind finally to witness the ultimate destruction of her life.

She gets startled while stepping back and darts her eyes at the whole restaurant now covered in fire and smoke.

"N-No!".

She runs ahead gathering her wits eventually. She couldn't digest anything in front of her eyes yet she has to get into the restaurant badly. Immediately.

She muffles her cries and ignores the people around her in chaos. She forwards ahead to the corner where they were before and freezes seeing the whole place shattered. Not even a brick remained as a evidence that a wall stood there and a table behind it.

Before she could scream, a destroyed wheel chair gets her off guard stopping her breath. She couldn't even cry now.

"Vedha!".

She looks behind to see Vinoth running towards her and she points towards the wheel chair slowly in horror. She wanted to run in but she doesn't know why her legs wouldn't move!

Vinoth's eyes instantly turned same as hers catching the wheel chair's condition and runs ahead without any words spoken to even Vedha. He has to check on his friend.

Vedha follows him subconsciously and is still whimpering. But she couldn't move ahead of that wheel chair for some reason. She just couldn't.

She looks around the devastated place finally gasping for her breaths hoping he might have hiding or staying safe somewhere.

"A-Adhi?!".

She was intended to run into the restaurant but the fate had other plans. She falls on the ground next to the wheel chair before her eyes closed themselves against her will.

She wouldn't faint normally. She is used to handle a lot of serious situations. She is not the one who will just faint in shock. Instead she always has been the one who fight and handle the situations till the end.

'Please tell me it's just a nightmare!'

'Please wake me only if this is a dream!'

'If it's not..let me go to see him.. I hope he is fine..like always..he always returns just fine..but drives us out of our mind in worry..'

Soon Vinoth returns struggling the chaos and the intense smoke. He finds Vedha passed out near the damaged wheel chair and frowns "I swear she didn't! She will not-".

He gulps as soon as he gets the glimpse of her right side of face was completely covered in blood all the way from her forehead.
