Game of Tom and Jerry

"Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha," Zhan Wei laughed loud when Mu Yuehan told him about his encounter with his angle, the last night and now early in the morning. "You, my friend have gone crazy. You are hallucinating a girl!"

"Hey, I am not crazy." Mu Yuehan rebuked and glared at a laughing Zhan Wei. He roughly removed the hand of Zhan Wei from his shoulder.

"I am sure, there is a girl who has stolen my first kiss. She is the same girl who saved me last night." Mu Yuehan spoke confidently.

"It was a peck, first of all." Zhan Wei corrected. "And the second thing is, my friend, you need a girl for your physical needs. It has been a long time since you had a proper girlfriend. You need someone to let the steam out of your system. This hotel has many beautiful female staff. Do you...."

"Stop talking rubbish, Wei." Mu Yuehan fumed at his friend and stood up from the couch. "I told you, my first kiss is not my imagination and I will prove to you the same. Soon enough, I will find her."

After making his declaration with confidence and belief, Mu Yuehan left the hotel and made his way toward the restaurant. After seeing his first kiss in the morning, he completely forgot about doing grocery shopping.

After having his dinner, Mu Yuehan made his way toward the beach, where he visited last night, in the hope to see his first kiss.

Nian Tian arrived at the beach as usual. She walked toward the sea, removed her shoes, and placed her feet inside the seawater, feeling refreshed.

Today wasn't her day, first, she encountered a runaway couple, then a flirt and then with the father of Aline.

"Hey."

Nian Tian's eyes widened when she saw the man from the morning walking toward her. She shook her head and walked out of the sea. She quickly wore her shoes and dashed away from the man, who in her eyes was crazy.

"Do not run. Please stop. I am not lying."

He followed her but Nian Tian who knew the ways on the beach vanished from his sight within a minute.

"Is she a magician? How can she vanish just like this?" Mu Yuehan scratched his head in confusion. The very next second, he sensed his shadow guard standing behind him.

"Sir, do you want me to find out about her?"

"No need, I want to catch her by myself." Mu Yuehan rubbed his hands and grinned widely.

For how long his angle was going to run away from him!

He was going to enjoy the game of Tom and Jerry!

It had been fifteen days but still, Mu Yuehan was not able to find out about his angle. He started to feel irritated. He knew she was here, a citizen of juju island but still he failed to meet her.

Many times, he saw her on the beach, at sunset viewpoint on Juju island or at the market, but every time he approached her, she would vanish in thin air. He was forced to think that he was imagining her.

Sometimes, he thought, why not take the help of his shadow guards but his heart always stopped him. He wanted to search for her by himself. Somewhere, his male ego was enjoying this game of cat and mouse.

He wanted his heart to find her.

"Yuehan to earth." Zhan Wei clicked in front of Mu Yuehan, finding him lost in his world.

Mu Yuehan came out from his thoughts and looked at the interior designers, eagerly waiting for his approval.

Today, he met his team of designers with the final proposal for the design of the hotel. He was here to select what was best for it.

"I think the project of Grace and co is the best. It is exactly like what I have in my mind." Mu Yuehan gave his decision, making the other party jump in excitement.

"Thank you so much, Mister Mu, for giving us this chance. We will not disappoint you."

Zhan Wei nodded and ended the video call. He shut down his laptop and then looked at Mu Yuehan. "Want to join me on the beach?"

"Nah, not interested. I am feeling hungry." Mu Yuehan stood up from the couch followed by Zhan Wei. "Want to join me? The food at hope restaurant is delicious."

"Nopes, food served here, at this hotel is not bad. Food is the only best thing at this place." Zhan Wei declined his offer.

Mu Yuehan nodded his head and left for the restaurant. He had become an addict to the food at the hope restaurant. He had tried each dish there and each one of them was his favourite.

It was like someone was lovingly cooking food for him. He could feel the passion and dedication of the cook in all the dishes.

"Hello." Mu Yuehan smiled at Marta and Marta grinned.

"You are early today," Marta commented and placed the menu in front of him.

"Yup, I am." Mu Yuehan picked up the menu and looked at Marta. "What's the special occasion? You look quite happy today."

"My daughter is returning after a year. I am so happy." Marta chimed. "You decide your order, meanwhile, I will attend to the other customers."

Marta excused herself and walked toward a couple who just arrived at the restaurant.

Mu Yuehan decided on the dish which he wanted to taste today. He placed his order.

In the meantime, his order was being prepared, he started to play his favourite game on his phone!

What! He played games! Really!

Yes, really!!!

His favourite game was, the stock market!

"Here is your order." Marta served him his order. She was about to leave when Mu Yuehan stopped her.

He was dying with curiosity to meet the cook of this restaurant and today, he decided to talk about the same with Marta.

He wanted to know who was the person serving him such a portion of delicious food from last two weeks.

He wanted to kiss the hands of that person.
