Why do you have to be my target?

Misled by the blindness for the world, made regrets and mistakes. But now, it's my time to fix it, with the specific person in my heart beside me.

It's my fault

The so-called "Death Dust" was now continuing the ritual with the odd language being spoken towards the rune. I clearly didn't understand a thing, the same goes for Eryx too even though he's part of the mother-nature magick. I'm currently getting bored due to not understanding and not knowing what to do next but just to stay still in the same gesture and everything nearly beside the figure. My whole body is starting to feel very stiff.

".....To skotadi na einai mesa mou kai na einai gia to megalytero apo ola!"

Finally! It's finished. Just in time for my legs to not pass out and to continue carrying out my assignment. Although this whole boredom and the mysterious thing has finished, the dark black shadow clouds come out from within the ancient written stone. Therefore, I signaled Eryx who was behind the door to the downstairs and analyze. He gestured me back and I believe it said:

Don't come near them.

. . . ?

I don't know... but I think so.

While I was lost in thoughts, dark smoke surrounded me and I got somewhat dizzy and felt like wanting to bury myself alive...

Eryx

Ayden got unconscious, not because I didn't warn him, he passed out just right there straight away. Thus, I took him downstairs quickly before he lose his soul; it's just a metaphor I use for him never getting up from deep sleep. This is where I become very not smart. I should have sent a message straight to his mind rather than acting it out. I can't blame him for being dumb, though.

He woke up after 10 minutes. During those times, the Death Dust was taken up into the sky by those thunderous black clouds.

"Where the hell am I? Uh-, Eryx? When did I get here?"

"Mannn, I thought you were strong. But seems like you're not."

"What!?"

I know exactly what could make him get out of the damn table he's been lying for some minutes and get into business again.

"You dare not accuse me for something you haven't see!! Plus, didn't you see how powerful that smoke is?"

"Alright, I get it."

-------------------

Felix was starring at the both of us from the back of the room. I'm having deja vu again with the time I had a huge fight with Eryx back then and Felix doing the same but in a horrific look and mad tears coming out of his eyes. Can't fault the others for calling him a weakling senior.

"I really don't understand what those words are. Ayden? Do you somehow know the meaning of it?"

Wait wait... Ayden?? Felix don't know it's me, how dare he!.. I trusted him...

"Dude... I told you not to call me in front of anyone. I trusted you.."

"But I told him about you dealing with this complicated mission so that he can be part of the help."

I hated this. I really thought he was great with keeping secrets. My heart was doing that strange thing again, but the difference this time is that it felt like being stomped by an elephant.

Anyways, that was also stupid of him to ask me that. I am indeed sharp but not in this situation. Not to mention, this is the strangest and the first ever task I find it odd and difficult to deal with.

"Excuse you, bro. I have no understanding of it. I thought you were smart."

"I am. But I thought you inspected the rune and the words being said from him."

Oh... I AM STILL VERY CLEVER!

While we were talking about runes, magick..., etc, Felix walked towards us and joined in by saying,

"That was no alien language..."

I made a death stare. I definitely was not okay nor comfortable with him being part of this.

"What's it then?"

"That was Greek."

"Mate, you know Greek? How come you never told me!? Your good ol' friend?"

"Sorry about that. And yes, I know Greek, and no, I'm not an expert at it."

I. Hate. Seeing. This. Relationship. With. Felix.

"So what does it say, Felix.?"

"I'll just jump into a conclusion since it'll be a fricking long speech."

"Whatever."

"Be an open minded person for once, Ayden."

"Stop calling me Ayden... and when did I not be open minded?"

My fury was almost out of my senses. *Sighed*

"Say"

"It meant about being along side with the darkness and absorption to more power."

"Wow! That makes a lot more sense."

"Not just that. He also mentioned about reuniting with his death father called Vox to emerge back with a big ass crew of the creatures, to control them all."

My heart striked as if it was going to be murdered, in other words, stopped working.

"Yea. I mean, you're smart. I'm sure you wouldn't get yourself controlled."

At this point, I just felt like exposing him.

"What..-? You're- You're one of them??"

"Whaat... Nooo-"

"You are!"

"Taste back your own medicine."

"YOU-"

I was smiling so wickedly I didn't even know what I did was right or not, but he did tell me off...

At that moment, tears fell out of his eyes but immediately wiped it out so that we would not be able to see him cry. Unfortunately, I did. I don't know why he was sad about this but I feel bad..

"I'll give you two some alone time."

There were silence but I broke it soon after 2 minutes.

"I- I was out of control..."

"I understand..."

"I didn't quite mean it..."

"But you did let the words slip out of your mouth-"

"Alright... I'm sorry. It was more important than mine."

Eryx sighed...

"Nahhh... It's my fault. I should have asked you first than telling out on you beforehand. I should be the one who has to say sorry."

"I think we both should"

"I agree."

The moment went from anger to a quiet one. We were both satisfied with what we did, nonetheless of what we said earlier...

"Alright!"

He got up from the stairs we were sitting earlier to talk out a problem.

"Felix! C'mon. What have you go to say? From that, Ayden will have to make a move."

"AYE!"

Both Eryx and Felix laughed. I looked at Eryx and he was smiling. I'm thankful I don't see him crying.
