Whisper's Of Love and Hate

"Argh." Adrian grunted as his throat was grabbed and he was shoved against the wall, as the person who was grabbing his throat applied pressure to his neck.

"You fucking bastard! You dared show your face in front of me again, huh?"

Adrian's eyes widened as he struggled. "Harlan, please listen to me. I am sorry, I am really sorry.

"Sorry? You are fucking sorry? You filthy thief!" Harlan said as he let go of his neck and punched him across the face, "Sorry, I am sorry. I am really sorry, Harlan."

Harlan smirked as he looked at him maniacally and said, "Sorry? Oh, you will be sorry; you will be very, very sorry."

A painful grunt escaped Adrian 's mouth as he got up from his small bed. He sat on the bed for some time to recover from the nightmare he just had before he got up and walked to the washroom to get fresh. He stared at himself in the mirror and hated what he saw.

He didn't stare at his reflection for a long time; instead, he took a shower and got ready for college, another tiring and dreadful day.

Another day that he wanted to end as fast as it could, he sighed as he walked out of the house and made his way to the college.

Once he reached the college, he looked around, looking for the people who loved to make his life a living hell.

So far, he had not seen any of those fuckers; however, that did not last long, as in the next second, he felt a strong push and was shoved against a wall. He closed his eyes and clenched his fists, readying himself for what was coming.

He looked at the person who had done that; it was Jeremy, one of the people who enjoyed showing his power over him.

Adrian shoved him back and glared at him, while Jeremy, along with his girlfriend Fiona and two other dudes, smirked and said, "What happened? Wanna fight back? Come on, hit me, why don't you?"

Fiona smirked and said, "Why don't you show him how it's done?"

Jeremy smirked as he moved forward and punched him hard on the face. Adrian 's face flew to the side as he stumbled back but was able to balance himself. He looked at Jeremy, but he punched him again.

It wasn't like he couldn't punch back; it wasn't like he couldn't fight; he had the physical strength it was just that, he couldn't.

No matter how much he wanted to fight back and beat the living crap out of these fuckers, he can't; he just can't, because although he was healthy, he was not wealthy.

And these people who stood before him were just pawns of the main devil who was controlling them. the person who had started this stood to the side and watched with no expression on his face.

Adrian glanced at him but quickly removed his gaze away from him. it was of no use to look at that person; there was no way he would help him. He had changed, and he was not the same as before.

And he was the reason why he had changed.

He was the reason why Harlan Kennedy became his enemy.

Thankfully, since it was time for the class, the bullies didn't bother him anymore and just walked towards their class, while Adrian stayed back to gather himself.

After he thought that he was stable, he also walked to the class and sat on the last seat in the corner, hoping to just get this over with.

It wasn't always like this; he wasn't always bullied; he once had friends, and one of those friends was Harlan Kennedy, who was not his biggest bully and the person who hated him the most, and that too for obvious reasons.

And as much as it hurts, he has already accepted this new reality.
