Chapter 22
“You know, I was thinking—”
“Let me show ya somethin’,” Ronan interrupted.
Felix allowed himself to be lead toward the cellar door. Remembering how heavy the door was, Felix hurried ahead and pulled it open so Ronan wouldn’t have to risk injuring his hands. Ronan nodded his thanks and awkwardly descended the stairs. When Felix reached the bottom, he was amazed at the bright and sterile-looking room in which they stood. A large stainless steel tub with a complicated conical lid dominated the center of the room with a matching steel table next to it. Along three walls were closely spaced wooden shelves containing uniform rows of small cylinders.
“Are those…?”
“Cheese,” Ronan said, out of breath from the trip but sporting a radiant smile.
“Your big top secret is cheese?” Felix asked.
