Emergence of a New Dark Lord (1)

William woke up feeling a headache.

"I used too much magic…"

He stood up and checked the time, he saw it was the middle of the night.

'I can't go back now, whatever. Let's test this first…' He thought and looked at his new wand with excitement.

He aimed at the ground far away, "Bombarda Maxima!"

Boom!

An explosion shook the room of requirement, William dodged a flying piece of rock with a smile. 'So strong!'

He seemed to have gone crazy as he cast spells over and over, chaos took over the room of requirement.

"Reducto!" The table turned to ashes.

"Expecto Patronum." White light filled the room as a creature took shape, 'A crow?' He was surprised by his Patronus.

The crow flew around him, he felt connected to it, he just needed to convey his intent for the crow to do something.

He dismissed the spell and checked himself.

'I don't feel tired at all!' He was elated to discover that.

"More, more…" He began casting all sorts of spells, the wand was truly powerful, he felt invincible.

"Hahaha!" He laughed out loud in joy as he waved his wand, the materials in the room began flying around in strange shapes. Ashes that were made from the previous spell took various forms and made circles around him.

William was finally confident, he could do magic without worrying like before thanks to the wand.

"Protego Diabolica."

All the feelings that had bottled up exploded forth as violet flames rushed out of his wand, consuming everything in the room while making a circle around him.

'Fiendfyre...' He looked at the destructive flames and with a wave of his wand, they were extinguished. 'They are rather dangerous...' He thought.

He left the room, new plans already forming in his head.

The next day William skipped on going to the room of requirement, he had the AI Chip suggest a potion that would enhance eyesight for a short period and he brewed it.

The day after, he arrived in the room of requirement, all the books that had ever been to Hogwarts except the ones he had already read appeared in front of him.

'So many...' He thought as he drank the sight-enhancing potion and then took out his new wand, 'I didn't use this because I was too weak magically before but now...'

He waved his wand and hundreds of books flew in front of him at the same time and stopped in a formation of sorts.

'100 books at once, as long as I see it, the AI Chip will get the data. AI Chip, Begin gathering information.'

He waved his wand again while looking straight ahead. Due to the potion, every word in every book was visible to his eye, he naturally couldn't multitask and read more than 1 thing, let alone 100, but the AI Chip could.

And thus that day, he went through tens of thousands of books and didn't leave the room, staying all night till he finished them all. He knew others would get suspicious about his absence but he didn't care anymore.

"And this is the last book, Hogwarts has no use for me anymore." He muttered as the last batch of books were added to a mountain of them as far as the eye could see laying on the side.

'AI Chip, Have you gathered everything?'

[Affirmative.]

'With this, I have most of the magical knowledge in this world. So simple...' He just realized just how overpowered the AI Chip was and felt fortunate to have it, 'AI Chip, I ask you, based on all this new information, can I strengthen my soul?'

[The methods have already been simulated by the AI Chip, there are 43 ways, only 1 is recommended.]

'Why?'

[The other 42 would negatively affect the host in one way or another.]

'I see... What is this method?'

[To explain it, the host must understand the soul and its relation to magic discovered by the AI Chip through the books.]

'Ok, go on.' He sat down and prepared to listen.

[It is certain to say that Magic comes from the soul, and all souls possess magic. This has been confirmed through dozens of books detailing rituals and results related to souls.]

'Then why do muggles exist?'

[Muggles also possess magic force based on scans. The reason muggles don't have magic has to do with the vessel/body they possess.]

'Elaborate further…'

[It is certain, based on all analysis and simulation that all living beings are a system made of 3 parts; Soul also called Spirit, Body also called Vessel, and Mind. In essence, we can call it, Mind/Body/Soul system.]

'So?'

[Soul and mind of all creatures are made from the same thing, a form of energy currently unknown, so it is concludable that the reason for beings able to use magic lies not in soul or mind but the body.]

'Long ago you said it was related to genetics, so nothing new was discovered?'

[All clues pointed to genetics then, but at the moment, evidence concludes 100%, genetics are the reason. There is a gene in certain bloodlines that under certain conditions activates and grants the soul the ability to manifest a form of a mysterious force called magic under certain laws in the world.]

[The stronger the soul, the more likely the gene will activate. It is probable that most human bodies possess this gene, but souls strong enough to activate it are rare. It is recommended to gather genetic samples and experiment for further data.]

'I see… So, if I had been reborn and not transmigrated, I would have been a muggle. Then how can I get stronger?'

[The AI Chip suggests creating a soul gem as the 1st step.]

'What?!' William was taken aback. 'We can do that?'

[The data required to craft a spell in order to trap souls exists, with the available data, it is quite simple to trap a soul using the spell and use a complex form of transfiguration to create a soul crystal, or as the host better understands, soul gem.]

'Explain a bit more...'

[The method simulated by the AI Chip needs practical information before attempted, experimentation is recommended before the host tries it. Currently, the possibility of failure exists.]

[The AI Chip suggests the host gather soul gems for experimentation. After enough data has been gathered, the host can safely try the method.]

'How many souls? Will animal souls do?' He frowned.

[20 souls are required. Ten of them must be Wizard souls, the rest must be Muggle souls.]

William sighed, 'I guess I have to kill some people... AI Chip, can you make a soul gem out of a Horcrux?'

[Affirmative.]

William stood up, 'I guess it's time, with this wand and AI Chip, I am confident I can take care of most things. Let's deal with Voldemort and get soul gems... AI Chip, one last question, If I use magic outside the school, will I get tracked?'

[Magic used by the Immortal Wand cannot be tracked by existing methods in this world, no residual magic energy will be left nor will there be any magic pulse to alert any tracking spell. The host may rest assured.]

'Good. Let's begin.'
