Dark Souls: The Door

[Operator, scans show the sword is actually quite far along in its 'Upgrade' path, it will be a useful sword through the entirety of your stay.]

''Is it? I don't know, I read some of the wikis as a pass time while on lunches or when I was waiting for something to print but I never looked to see the type of sword he had. Good to know, all weapons I collect will be added to the armory anyway."

They spoke while Ethan moved back to grab his new attack weapon, the door.

Grabbing the door he walked back towards the bonfire, taking a right he set it against the large doors leading to the boss room before he did some minor stretching.

''Going to take out many hours of anger, I sucked at this game for a long time, now I'm going to fuck him.''

[Operator, I don't advise mating with the Demon.]

''It was a joke Ordis.''

[Oh.]

He opened the large doors with a firm kick, the door falling apart as he lifted his weapon of choice, looking up he seen the Asylum Demon prepare to jump down, using quick math he stepped forward, spinning on his heel to add momentum he fucking threw the metal door he had.

It sailed through the air with a purpose as the demon jumped down, halfway down only to get it's face smashed in by the door, causing it to fall backwards only to have it smash through the ground beneath him. Since he was still close to the large door Ethan was fine, looking down into the hole.

''Oh shit, guess now that it's realistic, ground falls sooner... Fine by me."

He noticed the demon from before begin to fade away, a wave of white essence gathered towards Ethan's chest, a sense of growing power coming from it.

[Unknown energy detected.]

[Scanning.]

[Energy Identified.]

[Soul energy acquired.]

''Neat, well." Ethan looked up and around the arena, only to see something from the first demon, a large club. Ethan's brows slowly raised before a shit-eating grin slowly spread across his face.

Jumping from his position the ground cracked beneath him as he began to run across the wall to avoid the pit, coming to the other side where the massive club was resting he jumped onto the handle of it.

Using his weight and proper momentum when he pushed down with his legs the club began to tip from the edge.

Once he finally got the momentum he waited as the demon came below, patrolling to see why the floor caved in.

As he finally tipped the club down, he pulled at the handle to turn it sharply. Having the thickest piece of the wood began to line up with the Stray demon's head.

''MEATY WACK!"

A thunderous crack was heard as the large club crushed across the back of its head, only then did Ethan kick off one of the pillars and latch onto its thick neck. Plunging the sword he now had into the base of its skill, the bone was in pieces so he was able to get the sword in and really crank at the brain with the blade.

The demon last longer than the first one at least but it fell, fading away into another wave of souls as it gathered into Ethan.

There was also a large light on the ground where it fell, reaching a hand towards it Ordis spoke.

[You've acquired a Titanite Slab, it's been added into your soul's storage.]

''Ordis... I guess I never realized this, but even a base Tenno is... Powerful? I didn't break a sweat. Training seems more strenuous than this.''

[Of course Operator, Tenno are supposed to be weapons, in or out of their warframe. The warframe is simply a 'Tool'. The greatest weapon in a Tenno's arsenal is yourself, Operator. If you hadn't used the club of the previous demon to smash this demon's head in, it'd have been much harder.]

''Well, not every human things it's possible to use a club that size, no normal human at least... Where's the ladder?"

After some time looking around Ethan found the ladder, making his way up and making his way back to the arena above, he had to to the side path to grab his shield. Using the sword to knock the arrow's out of the air as he walked up.

It seemed the undead had no fear as it simply continued to fire at a steady pass, never pausing until he got closer, then it would turn and run further away before turning to start firing again.

Once he got his shield he sent it to his storage along with the starting sword as well. Since he was technically in full place, he wouldn't be using his shield much.

Once he got to the end of the path he caught the throat of the undead before bashing it's skull into the wall until it faded away.

Looking at the bow he didn't consider taking it, it was in extremely bad condition so he simply broke it by bending it to far.

Once he made his way further to the group of undead behind the fog gate you could use to jump down onto the Asulym Demon he killed them quickly, it seemed normal enemies like this wouldn't be much effort.

Jumping off the railing into the graveyard instead of using the key he obtained from the Asylum demon he continued along the path until he got to the end.

The moment he did a large bird appeared, its claws outstretched as he caught onto its bird feet, being carried off.

''Glad this works still, unsure what I would do if I couldn't do this.''

[It'd be possible to use an alternate route since this world is considered 'Real' just following the game is no longer required, if you wanted to you could explore the entirety of the land.]

''Well, that's neat, but I'll stick to the path, for now, I am only seeing how well my training has been paying off, and so far? I'm liking every moment of it.''
