Purple lilacs on Ji Yao's neck
The room descended into silence as the parties sitting on opposite sides scrutinized each other. Ji Yao was self-conscious of the hickeys decorating his neck. Some were red and the others had blossomed to a beautiful colour like that of purple lilacs.
Though it was only his neck that was visible to him it was as though he was forced to strip naked and parade through the streets just like Cersei did around king's landing. He uncomfortably placed his hand on the side of his neck attempting to cover it up.
Huishe Xiyue saw this and couldn't help but take out a blue silk scarf from her storage space and walked over to him. She was about to wrap it around him only for her steps to pause. She changed her mind handing the silk scarf to Rui Fei.
Rui Fei took it and thanked her with a beaming smile. Like a proud husband putting a necklace around his wife he bought as an anniversary gift. Ji Yao was blushing like a rosebud in the rain.
