Episode 20- Renting a Hotel Room in Fairy City

About ten minutes had passed since they started walking to the center of the arena, Tenka led Shito and her family to the center of the city. Lots of buildings were made of wood and signs were hung up.

"..."

Lilith, Lucia, and Alice were lined up beside each other, along with Shito who was holding his daughters that were sitting on his shoulders and they still didn't fall off because of the magic that was placed on them, Tenka was standing beside Shito and they all were looking around the area, their expressions were fraught, as they were wondering what they should be doing in the city.

It was suggested to a bunch of people who were planning to go on a trip but had nowhere to go at all, desperately trying to find out what would be the first thing they could do to pass the time as friends and family, but they didn't have any idea what the perfect thing would be for them to do for their first time in the village because it was their first time hanging out with Alice, so they wanted to make the day memorable. As friends who would be going out together, they wanted to get her comfortable with being with her as a group.

That said, Shito Mahinu stood there with his calm expression, and his long light sandy-blond hair blowing in the wind.

Above all—

"What should we be doing right now? Is there any reason we are standing here?"

The strongest person that was among them, and the calmest person that one would ever meet, The King of the Void Realm, Shito Mahinu, had gotten bored of waiting around for something to happen.

"As you can see from this village, they barely rely on modern-day technology like the ones in the human kingdoms, but with that being said, the quality of the wood and stone buildings is of high quality," Tenka said. "However, even if it isn't made from the materials from our kingdom, this city is quite fancy, and fairies are floating around the forest giving it a beautiful glow. But with that being said, this forest doesn't seem to get any lighter— or for that matter get any darker."

Shito's tilted his head, "Have you not heard the history of the city of fairies?" he asked flatly.

"What are you talking about uncle? Who hasn't heard about the history of fairies? They should all be placed in the history of books and that was content we learned in elementary school." Alice responded.

"No… The city is completely isolated from the forest. That means that this city is in a dimension of its own. Furthermore, this city will not get brighter or darker because of the barrier that was placed around the city. Although they could make the city brighter if they controlled the sun like they are doing now. But they don't really like bright areas, so they encased the sun in a barrier to stop the light from coming in, and they use the lights from the fairies."

In appearance, the world looked like a regular city, but the city was completely cut off from the world. Once the big gates were open a person would be able to go through the gates, but that wasn't the case for the first time they arrived because the spirits were expecting them, so they put up a small trail without the gates. In which he walked through the anti-magic barrier without any effort.

However, he never used any of his magic power, and all the activities that he recently did were based on pure physical ability— Well except for when he summoned Sebastian and revived the fairies that died.

… Hm. No, that he mentions it. I can clearly see that the sun was cut off, but if that was so then how was it so bright in the grassy field, we were walking through.... I get it now; he teleports us out of the barrier.

This is interesting. It's been a while since I have done anything interesting. My time as a hero is limited right now. So doing interesting things is something that's going to be fun.

The unvoiced cries of Tenka and Lucia all but flooded the area.

Shito was still standing in the same area with a stoic yet calm expression and started walking down the street of the packed city. People were cooking so the aroma of various types of foods flooded the area. But the smells didn't get to him since he could go without food— so there was no reason for him to stress over it.

"...Uhm, it seems like he already found a place he wanted to go to. Let's just follow what he is going to do."

"Yeah! Let's go ahead and follow him!"

Those words came from Lucia, Lilith, and Alice, they all said the same words, getting ready to follow, Shito who was walking in front of them with his daughters on his shoulder.

With that, the girls started following behind Shito and noticed that he suddenly came to a stop in front of a large two-storied building that was made from pure wood. To their surprise, the building was a hotel. He already knew that it was the first place they should stop at since they had nowhere to stay for the weekend.

But of course, in other people's minds, they would be thinking that he was thinking something perverted, but they wouldn't be able to prove that because his face is as expressionless as it always is. Furthermore, he had his eyes on one woman— and so, none of the girls really mattered in his eyes. Of course, he views them as friends— with Alice being his niece, but other than that they were a family in his eyes.

Unlike other mages, he liked to make sure everyone who was traveling with him was comfortable, and everything else wasn't really needed because he could destroy anyone he wanted to— and the gods were no exception to that. No matter how many elements they encompass, the fact of the matter was that he could kill anyone he wanted to.

Of course, if the person was to hide in the deepest parts of the world, he would still be able to find him and if they do manage to disappear from his sense( which they won't) then he could just rid the world of all the people that in habitat the world— or go back to the past to kill him, rewriting the future. Although he was a being that was cut off from the past, present, and future so if someone managed to kill his past self then he wouldn't be affected in the slightest.

"We are going to have to get a hotel room for about two days," Shito murmured.

His two daughters who were sitting on his shoulder gazes shifted towards each other before they shifted back to their father, "You are right Papa. We have to rent a hotel room, so we don't have to sleep in the forest. I want to save that kind of stuff for traveling."

Well, strictly speaking, his daughters were smarter than the average college student, just like he was at the age of five when receiving his power, knowledge started to flow in rapidly. Of course, they were nearly omniscient, but it was sealed. So, the twins weren't aware of the fact that they were near-omniscient— Shito's face still was as emotionless as it was before, and he walked toward the shop.

"Why are you four so behind? I need you all to hurry so we can rent out the rooms for today," he exclaimed with an expressionless look as he approached the door to the hotel and reached for the doorknob. "I would like for you all to pick up the pace. We don't have too much time in this village, so we have to make the most of it."

With that, he opened the door— revealing a vast, beautifully decorated room, which was obviously the lounge, and it was decorated with vases of flowers varying from different colors. Furthermore, there were lots of paintings hanging on the walls that could only be described as otherworldly, wooden chairs surrounding the room, supplying a pleasant, woodsy smell, and a large luxuriant carpet that looked like it took serval years to weave.

There was a wooden desk that was in the center of the room, and it was the desk that had a beautiful fairy with long light green hair, and emerald eyes that fluttered brightly— what made the sight better was that she had a white dress on that made her stand out.

"Ohhh my, we have guests coming to our inn." the beautiful light-green-haired fairy said in a voice that was filled with a level of grace. Her voice was well-spoken, and she gave off a gentle feeling. "Have you all come to register for a ro—...!"

The woman suddenly cut herself off as she saw the guest that was standing in her hotel building, not only were they human, but they were also the group of humans that saved the fairies that had died before. Word of the man that did it spread like wildfire, so naturally even one in the village was told by the Fairy Queen herself to treat them as guests.

The fairy before them smiled slightly, closing her eyes. "How may I help you all on this fine evening? You have saved our city and villagers, so I am willing to help you with anything you need…" she briefly paused before continuing, "My name is Adele. And I'm the fairy the owner of this hotel building so please let me know why you have visited our establishment."
