Hours flew by and the luminescent bacteria dimmed significantly, indicating that the night time had arrived in this underground world.

In this pitch black environment, neither Wang Jun nor Mei Lan needed any light source to illuminate their way.

Mei Lan, as a Catsith Tribe, has eyes which can see really well in the darkness. Her vision right now was akin to an NVG that was used by the military. Black and white and a bit of greenish silhouette.

Wang Jun, meanwhile, the vision that he could perceive was akin to something that came out from the painting. He could see colorful, small spiritual creatures that floated freely in the air. Some of them look like a snake who slithered away upon sensing Wang Jun's presence and the others look like a band of insects marching together into the stone wall.

"What are these creatures, really?"

Suddenly, the tranquil atmosphere changed abruptly by something lurking in the shadows. Both of them flinched in unison.
