4 Interlude I

The black raven flapped its wings more vigorously as it knew it was about to land. It finally landed on the woman's hand stretched out for it. She sat on the bank of the river as her legs flapped on the water. Seeing the folded piece of paper at its scaled feet, she picked it and saw the note written in ink:

                   We've found her.

She was immediately immersed in mixed feelings. It was a good news and also a bad one. With the black bird on her shoulder and the crumpled paper laced inside her fingers, she strutted to a tent not too far from the river. It was where she was staying for today after that, she was going to go back to wandering.

She searched through her bag, which was her only belonging, and found an almost finished ink bottle and a feather. She settled and wrote on the paper:

Make sure he never finds her.
