Chapter 1Chapter 2

Hugto took a seat in the middle row, three rows to the left, as instructed by the teacher. The boy sitting next to him glanced at Hugto with curiosity, noticing his towering height and imposing presence.

Hugto could sense a mixture of awe and apprehension emanating from the students around him.

As the class continued, Hugto attempted to blend in and participate in the activities. However, he couldn't help but hear the thoughts of the students sitting nearby. Their whispers about his height and size echoed in his mind. It was an unusual ability that Hugto had discovered, being able to tune in to the thoughts of those around him.

Hugto tried to maintain his composure and focus on the lesson, but his mind wandered. He pondered his presence in this world and the challenges of being so different from everyone else. Despite the internal struggle, he reminded himself that he had to abide by the rules of this world, even if it meant feeling out of place.

Throughout the class, the teacher occasionally stole glances at Hugto, seemingly fascinated by his extraordinary stature.

Sensing the teacher's curiosity, Hugto prepared himself for the inevitable introduction that was about to happen.

Finally, the teacher called Hugto to the front of the class and asked him to introduce himself to the rest of the students. Hugto stood up, his height accentuated in comparison to the others. He took a deep breath and confidently said, "My name is Hugto."

The students murmured his name quietly, still taken aback by his towering figure. Hugto could sense their curiosity and perhaps a hint of admiration for his unique appearance.

He returned to his seat, knowing that he had caught the attention of his classmates but unsure of how they would respond to his presence in the days to come.

As the day progressed, Hugto navigated the challenges of being in a classroom filled with unfamiliar faces.

He remained determined to adapt to this new environment, despite the overwhelming differences that set him apart.

As Hugto revealed his height of 187 centimeters, the students around him erupted in surprised exclamations. Their voices filled the classroom, expressing awe and fascination at his towering stature. Hugto couldn't help but feel a mix of amusement and exasperation at their reactions.

When Yuna, the boy sitting next to him, asked about Hugto's weight, Hugto hesitated for a moment, slightly taken aback by the personal nature of the question.

Nevertheless, reminding himself to adhere to the laws of this world, he decided to answer honestly.

"I weigh 76 kilograms," Hugto replied, slightly perplexed by the intense reactions of the students once again.

The classroom erupted in a chorus of loud exclamations and whispers, their excitement palpable.

Hugto couldn't help but shake his head inwardly, finding it amusing how much attention his physical attributes garnered. He wondered why his height and weight seemed to captivate the students so much, but he understood that in this world, it was a topic of interest.

Yuna, seemingly unfazed by the commotion, simply nodded and said, "That's pretty tall, dude."

Hugto replied with a small smile, appreciating Yuna's nonchalant response amidst the excitement. "Nice to meet you, too, Yuna."

As the class carried on, Hugto tried to focus on the lessons and engage with the activities. Despite the constant attention on his physical appearance, he aimed to find common ground with his classmates and establish connections beyond his extraordinary attributes.

The day continued with Hugto navigating the challenges of assimilating into this unfamiliar school and interacting with his classmates who were captivated by his stature.

He remained determined to adapt and form genuine connections, despite the initial curiosity and fascination surrounding him.

As Hugto struggled with his own difficulties in understanding math, he discovered a unique ability to read the thoughts of those around him. Realizing this newfound advantage, he decided to use it to his benefit in solving the math problems presented in class.

Hugto focused his attention on the thoughts of his classmates, listening in on their mental processes as they grappled with the math questions. He could hear their doubts, their calculations, and their attempts to find the correct answers.

With this insight, Hugto began to answer the questions one by one, drawing upon the collective knowledge of the class. He solved the problems with remarkable speed and accuracy, relying on the thoughts of his peers to guide him through the mathematical challenges.

Despite his ability to effortlessly solve the problems, Hugto remained unfazed by his own actions. He understood that his unique ability to read minds provided him with an advantage in this particular situation. However, he also recognized the importance of his classmates' understanding and learning process. Therefore, he made a conscious effort to answer the questions without drawing attention to his unconventional method.

Hugto's classmates, unaware of his extraordinary talent, marveled at his apparent skill in mathematics. They were impressed by his swift and accurate responses, unaware of the true source of his abilities.

Hugto continued to participate in the math lesson, utilizing his newfound ability to navigate through the problems. However, deep down, he pondered the ethics of using his mind-reading power to excel in academic pursuits, recognizing the potential advantages it afforded him.

As the class progressed, Hugto made an effort to strike a balance between utilizing his unique ability and encouraging his classmates to develop their own mathematical skills.

He strived to foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment, while still drawing upon his mind-reading capability to supplement his own understanding of the subject matter.

OLD-WORLD EXTRA

{Check out my new novel, Misunderstood Villain: Heroines Mourn My Death} 'Born In Ruins' was a forgettable read. That was the only way Emir could describe the pages of the novel he had found himself reincarnated into. It was a depressing story, one that he had planned to flip on its head—all for his salvation. — In this post-apocalyptic world, monsters fought humans and cyborgs in a battle for survival on a scale greater than ever before. A world where innocence and death were a luxury, where the line between heroes and villains was razor-thin. Within its expanse, 'Ancient Clans,' 'Galactic Federations,' 'Factions', and 'Corporations' presided over colossal 'Ruins' that dwarfed the concept of life itself. Survivors of the 'Third World War' continuously dove into the 'Old World,' 'Hunting' for 'Relics' in any ruin that they could find on Earth, desperate to reclaim 'Lost' technology, to stand a fighting chance against the inevitable. But it appeared that 'Earthkind' had met their match. …However, Emir would never allow that fate to take its course. — Emir unraveled layers of the tale and realized the truth of the world. He acquainted himself with the rules of this game before it fully consumed him. And now... no longer content with mere survival, he sought to dominate over the very fabric of this unforgiving universe. Emir shall rise from the pawn he once was, seeking to unravel the mysteries that hounded him. The boundaries of 'Aether,' his father’s disappearance, the noose hanging above his family’s head, and of course… his starless destiny, a fate he longed to control. This pursuit would earn him the epithet: "Prince Of The Fallen." ---------------------------------------------- *Tags: Reincarnation ;), Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Magical Realism, Academy (Volume 3), Romance, Apocalypse, {Anti-Hero. Villain.} *Expect this novel to start slowly; it begins ramping up at the halfway point of volume 1. *The Magic System is introduced at the end of volume 1, read my review and Auxiliary chapter for more on that. *Warning: The main characters have emotions like proper humans. So don't expect your usual emo kid as the MC and come complaining later.
