Elora Noelle, a mysterious beautiful woman who turns out to be the immortal soulmate of Edmund's. Inspite of having so many ups and downs they managed to set for their future life. But there comes a time where Elora has to choose between love for Edmund and the reason for his death. Forced to confront painful memories, Edmund will discover undeniable truths about the choices Elora made. But can they overcome all these uncertainties and move towards a better future? . . . *A part from story* I kiss her again, then move down her jawline to her neck. I trace my fingers across the thin skin of her collarbone. She closes her eyes, her cheeks are flushed and she bury her fingers in my warm hair. Telling me how much she likes this, likes me, loves me... "I have loved you for a very long time, Edmund", she whispers against my breath. "From even before that farewell. And that's why I insisted Charlie on taking me to the farewell so that I could meet you." Meeting her again was never a coincidence. Her words surprised me. "But I was at the farewell you know." "Yeah I got to know that but not before I met you the day of our introduction and I read your mind." I smile. I don't know why I smile but thinking about all these, how we met and how we fell for each other makes me smile. But it came out bit like a chuckle. She laughs. When she laughed I wanted her again. I love the sound of her laugh. I take both her hands on both of mine. "Pretty dramatic way of founding each other I see." "Surely". "Oh wait! I'm thinking I'll take that as my inspiration for my novel." "OH MY GOD! EDMUND." She laughs even louder this time. . . Cover credit: Author Hesreth

The Kingmaker System

"The masterminds are cooler than heroes," I mutter as I stare at the chess pieces before me. It is easier to be the one who sits in the shadows and moves the pieces, likewise deciding the flow of the game. Heroes will foolishly sacrifice their lives for the good cause and villains will sacrifice the world for their own gain, but masterminds will use both the heroes and villains to their own benefit. Why, you ask? Well, that's because I've lost my life once while trying to be a hero so, I don't want that anymore. I'd rather be a mastermind who molds the world as per my convenience and live peacefully. Because, why not? *** [Defender of Divine Glory says you are the hope of this world.] What? [Goddess of Wisdom believes that you will be the one to save the world.] Wait, what?! [Propose the Grand Duke the idea of a fake marriage.] And, why would I do that?! [Stop the assassination of Prince Eric.] Why would I save him?! [The candidates for the throne are:... Who will you choose?] Ah! I give up... It seems like a curse that anyone who wishes for a slacker life in Isekai will have to go through the most troublesome things. In my past life, I died because of one rookie mistake but after being transmigrated in the world of fantasy I've gotten an opportunity to start afresh, but unlike the protagonists who look for their love and glory, I'd rather make money and live a life of a slacker. I have magic, I have power and I have money, what else do I need? Well, that was the plan but this damn system is getting on my nerves. I mean who in their sane mind would want to mess with the complicated royal family and political affairs? But that's not all though. I've also become the saviour of this world. Things just can't be anymore worse! Besides, the penalty of failing this quest is... [Failure: Destruction of the World.] It seems like if I screw up in selecting the right person then the destruction that is going to befall the world won't be stopped. If I speak of my reward then it's this vague thing. [Reward: Fulfillment of any wish.] "If that's the case then, I'd rather choose the person who would be the best fit for the throne." And that's how I decided that I would become the Kingmaker.

A baby gave me magic, now divine beings want me

The divine child of Gods has somehow connected her magic with the core of a klutz high school teenager and now divine beings from all over the realms are coming to earth to woo this girl. Everyone is after her magic. Sadly enough, the girl is already claimed by three men of origins unknown. Result to a magical fuck up, Ceridwen finds herself in a frenzy of accepting her powers, raising a child and juggling with the feelings of innumerable men and women alike. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The Fates love playing games with Mortals and Divine beings alike, so what happens when they spin the bottle and choose their next victims to be a group of high school teenagers. Ceridwen Rivers is a tacky stereotypical loner at high school until she accepts a job to babysit the school heartthrob, Hale Dorian's, mysterious secret child. She needs money to participate in a science program and get closer to her life-long crush, Aedion Dorian, and make him fall in love with her. But with divine intervention in the name of Ahren, a three-month-old child, she gets caught up in a web of magic, pretence and love. When you think this is a cliche high school love story— don't be fooled. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ "I— I will get going now...please give me my clothes...," I managed to croak out without choking on my own spit and eventually calling my own death. "You can't have your clothes darling angel," Elvi answered with a grin plastered across his face. "You cannot go home yet," Hale spoke coldly, grey eyes stabbing my soul. I sucked in a deep breath, crawling back to the walls. What were they talking about?! Wasn't today too much already?! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ It's a slow burn and a slow build, but give this story a chance please— I hope you'll enjoy this journey of magic, madness and love. Every character grows with time, you'll realize that.

the book is very interesting, it has a very neat concept about the future and how aliens are secretly ruling the world. The characters are well developed, when X wants to save K, I feel that need, I can connect with the character.
