Girlfriend

She had her shower first and I decided to get out of the hotel with the excuse to buy snacks. We do need it though. 10 pm is too late for dinner.

"Where have you been? You took some time," she greeted me when I got back.

Her hair is wrapped in a towel and she is still on her bathrobe.

Exactly what I'm thinking. Why is she not dressed yet when I was gone for a long while?

"I told you I'm buying snacks. I bought you macarons."

"You spent an hour buying macarons?"

"I don't know why you're starting an argument with me," I said as I plopped down the sofa.

"I'm just concerned Mr. Nikolaev sir."

"Concerned?" I peeked up.

"If I don't see you and know what you're doing, I get concerned."

I don't know if I should be happy or insulted.

"I can handle myself."

She said nothing and turned to her room. I followed after her, bringing the bag with the macarons.

"I bought you macarons."

"Okay. Take a shower now."
