The First Beast

The world was in a chaotic state. 2 years ago it happened, the first gate opened. the gate was a dark red gate with a stone gateway around it, it shined in the light, and glowed in the dark. At that moment the world didn't know what was about to be brought on to them. There was an explosion from the gate, and then it emerged, as if from thin air, the first beast to walk the earth.

The entire earth has undergone a dramatic change, The appearance of otherworldly beings. these so-called "beasts" have come from the gates that are now scattered across the planet. the "beasts" all had different appearances and figures that stood out. Some had horns, other had scales and tails, so you could tell them apart from normal humans. There were quite a lot of beasts on earth now, around 1.5 million of them, they have tried to integrate with normal society but the common people seem to dislike this fact. In most countries, they decided to banish the beasts and have set laws for beasts to be executed on sight if found on their soil. These laws have been enforced to an exceptional degree and have caused the deaths of 784,640 beats. Not all the countries of the world have these laws such as Canada, America, Japan, Greece, Brazil, Egypt, and France, which allowed them to stay in their countries.

*New York City August 5th, 2036*

The sounds of police cars rushing past with a gust of wind could be heard, the screech of rubber tires scraping the ground shocked people's ears when heard. Over the police scanner, a static voice could barely be understood as it said, "Robbery in progress all units to Fifth Avenue"

A man could be seen running from the scene of the crime, he was one of the beasts, his name was Wilyn Zike. He has black and gold scales across his entire body, which made him look extremely sturdy, he has a tail of approximately 2 meters long and two black, medium-sized horns atop his head. He was gripping a brown bag in his right hand, as he ran Wilyn gritted his teeth as he turned his scaly head to look behind him, he could see the shopkeeper chasing after him. "Get back here!" the shopkeeper yelled out at Wilyn, but all Wilyn did was yell "Cya sucker!" as he laughed. Wilyn bent his black and gold, scaly knees, and push off the ground is extreme force. He had landed atop a building and kept up the pace he was originally running at, as he quickly opened his menu.

A ding could be heard as he opened his menu, a translucent blue screen appeared.

Wilyn quickly pointed his finger towards the inventory option, and then the blue transparent screen enlarged, and a large box grid that took up the whole screen could be seen. Wilyn quickly moved the brown bag with his right hand and pushed it into one of the grid spaces causing the bag to disappear out of seemingly thin air, but then appeared with a miniature icon within the first grid square. As he ran until he believed he had lost the cops, he couldn't hear any more sirens or see any red and blue light shining from the streets, so he decided it was safe to head home. With a gust of wind, he was off to the outskirts of the city.
