Chapter 13 - The Lady In Black Part 2

Alistair's PoV

The ocean breeze could be heard, whispers of the wind coming forth, I looked around seeing the carcasses of the dead Belugacorns floating.

A feeling of uneasiness feels my stomach as if being churned. The atrocities of these creatures that caused to wane the numbers of people in the past being responsible for the destruction of life, they must perish by my hands i thought while clenching my fist in a grip.

I raised my head staring at the clouds moving from the high altitudes, the sun with great appearance in high noon with the visible moon Selene. I accelerated to the shore and clicked my ear pod.

"Gather the carcasses it should be gained for research purposes or materials for weaponry, extract the cores of the Belugacorns as well it should benefit you for they are Class E it should suffice for some enhancement"

"At your command your majesty"Replied the commander.

Shit i came her to visit not to do some work, i sighed and brushed my hair up with my hand.

My clothes were wet from the battle, it was a water type Class C+ , plus ranks don't usually pop up at a time like this.

"It's weird what is this feeling of warning that i feel?"

I had gone to the nearest store for clothing, the cashier bowed to me in a professional manner.

"Ah our Prince what will you take today??"

"This" Holding the pants and white long sleeves on a hanger.

"Please take it for free"

"Thank you"

"You're welcome Sir"

I changed my clothes to the dressing room and came out dressed neatly, the cashier smiled.

"Is it to your liking my prince?" She asked in a calm voice.

I nodded coming out of the store then said "Thanks again"

"It's our pleasure to serve you" bowing her head to me.

I placed my drenched clothes in a plastic bag then put it on the chair, i had another clothes that i took from that store and it seems they didn't mind, i should pay a visit to Chris.

I clicked a button on of the buttons of the car then an iPad showed up.

It briefly sounded a ringtone of bells.

"What will you command??"

"Play Moonlight Sunrise"

The song started to play and the engine of my car started, i drove my car hurriedly as i saw the beach through the window, the lush green meadows with the trees on that hill, the sparkling reflection of the sea from the sunlight, i opened the glass window of my car a bit, inhaling and feeling the fresh air coming in on my car window near me. After some times had parked my car in the parking lot of the cities tower, one of the branches of the five corps, the guard opened the puller pulling it from it's handle, i entered as the personel of this tower bowed their heads to me, i continued but halted to the lady on the desk.

"May i ask where is the room of Chris Thunderson?"

"From Floor five on room eighty-four your majesty" bowing her head.

I kept on walking, seeing the circle in the middle with patterns of magical texts on the edges, i stopped walking when i got to the center. A cyan transparent light enveloped the edges of the circle and a window screen appeared with an emoticon face (☉｡☉)!

"Hello our Dear prince what floor shall i bring you? "(◍•ᴗ•◍)

"Floor fifth"

"Understood"(◍•ᴗ•◍)

I closed my eyes then my body teleports to the circle on the fifth floor, i opened my eyes then blinked seeing the nurses walk around with their medications and such.

I saw the numbers put in front of rooms and i walked around as a nurse came to me.

"What is it?"

"Ah Sir are you looking for room number specifically?" She asked.

"Yes number eighty-four"

"This was please"

I followed her guidance to the room and the nurse opened the door with our eyes seeing Chris covered in bandages. My gaze turned to her and she had a nervous reaction.

"Are there any other healers?"

"Sadly there are not yet any healers available, they are currently in the progress of healing the other patients"

I sighed i walked in and turn to the nurse who was shivering.

"You can go now"

She bowed calmly and left the room closing the door.

"Y-your majesty, i-"

"Shut your mouth"

"Eek!-" He squeaked in fear.

I reached out my hand to his direction. The colour of my eyes turns into lime colour. A circle appears in a counter clockwise then started turning, spakles like dust breezed to Chris, those sparkle dust of lime light gathered into small beings that like balls of light that flutters with butterfly wings. They hovered around Chris, some placed themselves to his body. A glow of lime light came from them as the cuts and wounds brightens in light getting smaller in time until it closed up and healed. The feeling of being healed was a warm soothing feeling for Chris he closed his eyes, it seemed that he was comfortable and satisfied, he then opened his eyes. The butterflies in lime light created a circle then disappeared like twinkles.

"You okay now?" I asked.

He looked to where his wounds located before on his body searching for leftovers, his eyes began to sparkle, his hands in prayer.

"MY PRINCE WAAAAAH- THANK YOU"

"Stop Jabbering let's go"Turning around.

"Where to?" Wiping off his sniffling nose.

"To where my future wife is"

"Really?!off we go then!"Chris Cheered.

I exited his room and he got dressed, he came out in an outgoing outfit like a guy out for parties, this must be to show off his outgoing personality on things, perhaps to not scare a person or be suspicious of him in his suit?

We used the teleportation circle and had gone to the woman in her desk.

"Yes sir?" She tilted her head.

"Contact the commander at once"

She nodded hurriedly and got to a phone call. She swiped the screen window towards me making me see the commander.

"Silent Call" i uttered covered me a barrier of transparent light with four metres in radius

"Y-yes my prince?" He stuttered.

"I'll be using the National Teleportation Portal here in the tower"

"O-of course! You're name is already registered at the top of the tower your majesty along with your attendant"

"Mhm" i nodded "I'll end the call here"

The transparent light surrounding me vanished, Chris opened a wrapped lollipop.

"Are we going to use it?"He asked in excitement and i nodded we had gone to teleport at the top of the tower, there were metal fences with four floating gems that were sapphire,topaz,ruby and emerald.

We walked to the center and i spoke.

"Great god who rules over space, unnamed and unraveled, i ask for thy power, grant me the power to bend space and time, beseeched for your power i beg of you let me come home to my beloved"

"Woah what's tha-" i shushed his blabbering mouth.

I looked up to the sky then a sudden tremor to the firmament happened opening a great hole, the clouds grown dark, lighting flashed and roared like lions.

"Wha!"

Before we know it, we're already at the top roof of one the towers of Melsburg, i felt the wind brushing to my skin, Chris behind was stunned like a first timer. He touched his chest,stomach and back checking things out.

"Woah no way that is so amazing and look that!" He pointed to the horizon seing the sunset and the city with a broad smile on his face, i chuckled for a bit "It's Melsburg! I'm home!"

I thought he would speak another word from his excitement but when i turned around to Chris, he seemed silent his eyes seemed to have been shocked...no it's like time stopped? Wait I can't overthink such things cannot happen in this world, time magig is too complicated to test, also even if were true that time magic being used to Chris would last for a moment for using time magic exhaust too much mana even for a fraction of a second during of the research for time magic in one our labs. What could it be? I walked closer to Chris and my widened leaving my mouth gaped to the next action i will do.

"His hands it's moving?"

Baffled from moving his hand, it shouldn't be possible to moves one's hand when stopped by time, then what is the other cause?

I felt the wind being harsher as the seconds of time passes, turning my to the horizon, it left me in shock.

The raging oceans, the clouds darkened now reached to the other side at my back, like a storm out of nowhere, it was calmer before we came out of the Teleportation spell, but this scenery...i flinched, what if there are people in Chris's state? I grit my teeth in fear thinking one person in mind.

I gasped "Rius!"
