Slap!!

One slap flew hard into Yue Yin's face when she had not prepared her heart to receive it. She hasn't known what was wrong she had done. She didn't even know why she deserved a slap. But Wen Mei Li hasn't stopped in venting her anger.

"You're the shameless bitch!! How could you possibly be chosen to marry Young Master Quan?"

"You've been flirting with him surreptitiously? And you've been eyeing his treasure from the start?"

Overwhelmed by disappointment and anger that were rising like wildfire, Wen Mei Li wouldn't be content to slap Yue Yin just once.

She was getting ready to slap Yue Yin again. However, because of Yue Yin lowered her head and protected her face with both her hands. Wen Mei Li was obliged to change her strategy.

She used her left foot to kick Yue Yin's knee to fall to the floor.

A satisfied smile spread on Wen Mei Li's cynical face.

Yue Yin kept maintaining her patience. She had gotten used to being mistreated. Just a slap, a punch, and a finger prick. None of those would be able to make her suffer badly.

"Mei Li, I don't know what you're talking about. But did you have to slap and hit me? We could have a good talk without violence. I'm sure you are a smart woman too."

Mei Li's spiteful laughter spread. She grabbed Yue Yin's hair in one rough tug.

"Arghh!!!"

"You tried to act innocent and smart?!"

"You have known that Young Master Quan was sickly! That's why you tried to be Young Misstress Quan. So that you could snatch his fortune when he died! Do you think I don't know about your scheming?"

"Why would the ugly Yue Yue marry him? Are you not afraid that Yue Yue will embarrass our family name? She couldn't match up with the famous Quan family! It could be a disgrace if father keeps them married!"
