A ballad's Prelude 5
In the darkness of the "night", Ellianor and Kissenn stood together, as Jello slept closer by, sleeping on its backpack.
Because the place was overcrowded with wounded, they decided to let the children have the beds.
They "slept" near the entrance, Jello could run upstairs, as Kissenn would be able to intercept the enemies immediately, and Ellianor could go over the back entrance and deal with the enemies there.
In truth, while they should be sleeping, none of them could close their eyes. Worry and doubt filled their chest. Ellianor was worried about the children's fate, as Kissenn felt uneasy about the whole endeavor.
She had thought that the "quest" would be to kill some monsters and just go out, eliminating creatures from outpost to outpost.
