The Final Showdown

BOOO!!!

Kenzo had taken the lead and quickly thwarted Arima's attack, anticipating the horrendous electric discharges from his Quinques. Whoever owned that Kagune must have been someone very powerful; that's why he wouldn't give him the chance to unleash that attack.

Attacking from the right side, Kenzo focused on using Ghoul investigator techniques, as it was a standard martial art. This was the first part of the battle he had simulated in his mind because, if he fought in his Ghoul form, his chances of easily winning might be disrupted.

Crack!

As the battle progressed, Kenzo suffered many wounds, but Arima was not exempt from damage either. Once Kenzo initiated his furious attacks, he didn't stop, knowing that, as a powerful Ghoul, he had the advantage in close combat, and, according to his knowledge, there weren't many who could stand against him.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

When Kenzo attacked again head-on, a powerful electric shock headed straight for his body, forcing him to dodge backward. However, because he was too close to Arima, he, too, did not escape unscathed from the damage caused by such an attack.

"You're a fool..." Kenzo, who activated the Quinque in his right hand, immediately unleashed a series of powerful attacks that sent blood projectiles toward Arima.

At that moment, three piercing hums were heard where Arima originally stood, and in an instant, all of them were just a hair's breadth from his position.

Boom!

The first impact hit Arima's body directly, although he blocked the attack with one of his Kagunes; this drop of blood was peculiar because it was boiling, and soon burns appeared on Arima's left arm. However, he couldn't stay still because two more attacks were heading his way.

The next two attacks, like the roars of ferocious beasts, made Arima serious for the first time, using his utmost agility to escape.

Boom! Boom!

"What the hell?! That damn Ghoul has a powerful Quinque, damn it," shouted an investigator who wanted to intervene in the battle to support Arima.

"This is out of our league; we would only die if we intervene in that battle..." said another investigator who saw Arima getting injured in combat for the first time.

Only a small number of experts knew what that meant, so the concerns of the higher-ups were significant. They were not only attacking the entire CCG in Japan, but apparently, they were also pursuing a new purpose in this battle.

Boom!

At that moment, the battle that had just begun took an unexpected turn when two helicopters started firing at Kenzo from above. This allowed Arima to retreat in time and regain the balance he had lost when he received one of the impacts.

"It's incredible; not only can't patterns be used to hurt him like a common Ghoul, but he has also adapted to human combat..." Arima took off his jacket and wiped his glasses wet from the rain.

Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang!

Seeing that helicopters were attacking with high-caliber gunfire, Kenzo immediately extended his second Kagune and desperately began to cover his body, which was completely exposed to sky attacks.

In just a few seconds, Kenzo had transformed into a huge three-meter-high monster emitting a bloody aura covering his body. His hand, twice the size of the left one, released tentacles that immediately formed blood droplets.

The next moment, those blood droplets crystallized and in the blink of an eye shot towards the helicopters.

Above the neck, the two helicopters that had taken the advantage soon exploded in flames and both crashed into a building that had previously been uninhabited.

After the smoke cleared, Kenzo appeared amidst the smoke curtains and instantly headed towards Arima.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The snipers in the distance shot at Kenzo's body; they had all agreed to support Arima in this battle due to the initial disadvantage he had faced.

Kenzo, sensing the attacks, simply raised his right hand and forcefully struck the ground.

Booom!!!

The ground within a hundred meters exploded into debris, causing even the tanks to come to a halt. The snipers attacking Kenzo also received impacts at their positions, dying instantly.

Kenzo suddenly shot off at an incredible speed; in just a few minutes, a huge wing reappeared behind his back, propelling his speed to chase Arima.

This was the first time Kenzo activated his Kajuka form; he obtained it when he devoured the Kagune of the Ghoul that attacked him with blood. It was the first and last time he ingested a Kagune, but thanks to that, he could form this powerful Ghoul form.

"It seems this will be the fight..." Arima took off his glasses and roared in fury as he advanced against Kenzo, caring only about winning this battle.

He hoped Kenzo would win; he wanted to know if he had the ability to carry an entirely new world on his shoulders, and if it weren't for his position, he would have liked to see how far Kenzo would go in the future.

Boom!

In an instant, Kenzo used his tremendous speed to attack Arima, who wanted to face him head-on, which was madness. If just one impact of his body were to hit Arima, he would end up in a ball of blood.

Taking the initiative, Kenzo knew that Arima was going blind, so he took advantage to envelop the surroundings in a blood mist that his enemy was not perceiving.
