CAROLINE'S POV

"ITS HIGH SCHOOL! ITS HIGH SCHOOL! HIGH SCHOOL HIGH SCHOOL HIGH SCHOOOOOLLLLL!" I jump on my bed, singing.

I know I'm really overly excited for high school, but who wouldn't be?

"EVERYONE IDIOT" my conscience scolded me.

"CAROLINE HONEY, I LOVE YOUR VOICE BUT PLEASE DON'T SHOUT" my mom yelled at me.

"SORRY MOM".

I picked out the perfect outfit which suits me and my personality(according to Elly and Phoebe). A blue dress with a denim jacket over it and my classic boots. I open my bedroom door and I'm immediately hit by the smell of waffles. MY MOM'S CLASSIC WAFFLES WITH MAPLE SYRUP AND FRIED CHICKEN. Yes. I was hoping mom would do that for me. She is a lawyer, so she's extremely busy. But she always finds time for me. Thats what I love about her.

I run down to devour that breakfast and almost bump into my dad with his stack of paperwork.

"CAROLINE! Why are you running around like a five year old ?" my dad asks frustrated.

"Sorry daddy" I pout.

He chuckles and says "Go have your breakfast...Your gonna be late for school".

I smile at him and take a seat on the dining table. I eat my delicious breakfast slowly, savouring every bite. I don't care if I'm late for now, I just want to enjoy this moment. After eating that delicious plate of waffles I kiss mom and dad goodbye and head to Elly's house. I always walk to school with Elly and Phoebe, my best friends. I've known them since FOREVER. We do everything together. We know everything about each other, even our darkest secrets.

When I reach Elly's house I see Phoebe already waiting there. I sprint and give her a gigantic bear hug.

"Oh, I've missed you!".

PHOEBE! My feisty friend. She always has a stern look and hates cheesy stuff but deep down she has a heart of a cuddly teddy bear. Phoebe was on a family vacation around Europe, so I didn't see her for a month.

"Hey Care, I know you love me, but i think my bones are crushing. "she said suffocating .

I just realized then, that I'm squeezing her.

"Sorry!". Man I've told sorry like a hundred times today

"Where is Elly?" I ask her. "I'm having the same question" she replied.

And as if on cue the door of Elly's house door flies open and comes out a beautiful Elly. ELIZABETH! My smart friend. She has always been the most beautiful girl in school. You know THAT girl who always gets A MILLION valentine's day gifts. Yeah she's that girl. But she is never the bitchy type. She is kind and smart. That's why she is different.

Elly runs over and gives Phoebe and I a hug.

"Hey guuuyysss!" she shrieks.

"Oh, for heavens sake, can ya'll seriously stop crushing my bones" Phoebe screams.

"NOT GONNA HAPPEN !" both me and Elly said together.

We started walking to school, laughing.We talked about our vacations on the way to school and finally we reached it. BERRY'S HIGH SCHOOL. The high school of our dreams. Okay that's a little too much. It was not the school of our dreams. Our dream is just to reach high school and be smart and successful in the future.

We made our way to our lockers, and kept our things. After taking some of our books we head to our class. And that's when I saw him. NICHOLAS DAVIS....
