5 Ghosts

The school day was pretty fun, other than Maxine's constant chitchat about Abby's new house. "Have you seen any ghost yet?" she'd say. "Please let me come over! I've been wanting to go inside that ol' house for years!" Abby finally gave up, and said that Maxine could come over for the afternoon. School ended at 3:30, and Abby's mother was waiting outside for her and Maxine to get in the car. "I see you've made a friend already, Abby!" her mother exclaimed cheerfully. "Yup!" Maxine said. "What's your name?" Abby's mother asked. "The name's Maxine." She responded. "Is it ok if Abby and I go explore the house a lil' bit?" Maxine said hopefully. "Okay, just make sure to be safe." Abby's mother replied as she pulled the car into the driveway of the old house. As soon as they walked inside, Maxine asked if they had an attic. She said that most attics are probably haunted. Abby just went along with her paranormal beliefs, and explored more of the house with Maxine. "This house has got original furniture as well! Y'all could sell some of this stuff for millions." Abby smiled. "I guess so."
