The Shop | Part 1

"The Witch of The West. What a stupid name for someone so powerful! It just makes it seem like I live in a region! 100 years they've been calling me this, and it never changes! I don't even live in the west! They are imbeciles! Pathetic vermin! I should eradicate them!" A woman said as she began to pace back and forth around a decently sized, and well lit room, lined with rows of carved wooden furniture, all lined with silk cushions and comfortable wool blankets that have a variety of patterns.

"Ma'am, can I just get my blanket???" A man says, sitting near a counter with a register on top, credit card in hand and a blanket with a mix of red and gold trims, and a interesting woven patter on the center of it sitting in front of him.

"Oh yes, you can sir! I almost forgot you were here!" The witch replies, hastily making her way back to the counter. Then the witch turns to the man and says "That will be 15.57 sir."

The man hands the witch his card, who then swipes it, pushes a few buttons and hands it back. The witch then neatly packs away the blanket, and hands the bag to the man. Happily watching as the man admires her craft.

"Yknow, I am so surprised that you can make so many blankets ma'am," said the man, watching as she wrapped and folded a new blanket.

The witch once again hands this blanket to the man and says, "It's simply the work of many, many years, and hopefully many years still to come."

The witch then packs the two blankets together and puts them in a small box for the man. Once she is finished, she hands off the box and watches as he walks away with a smile on his face.
