The woman of standard

The story is about the life of a young beautiful damsel in the city who is in search of the love of her life. She sets a very high standard for her potential lover but is disappointed that her admirers are missing one thing or the other. Nature is against her as well as nurture. She gets so frustrated as days go by but couldn't find a match. She runs into Dinka, a young man she secretly loves but he dashes her hope. In frustration, she creates an imaginary man in her head and transfers all the love to the unknown man to the extent of purchasing physical objects for the unseen man. Her imagination keeps her in check while she becomes very religious and seeks God's help to find her kind of man. In the end, she is old and dies single without any sibling, parents, relative or true friend. Her church organises a little funeral service for her and the her friends, neighbours and many people who knew her in her lifetime came together to render their honest account and tributes to the great lady who kept her standards from the beginning to the end The story is told at funeral by the sympathizers; with good intent they gave a recount of the live and times of the woman of standard.
