THE DISCOVERY PART 1 PART 1

Emily was startled when she heard the school bell. she was glad yet sad. Glad because today is Friday and Sad because she won't be able to catch a glimpse of her crush, Joe, for two solid days. He's all she thinks about every weekend but she can do nothing about it. She packed her books in her backpack and headed for the exit. Out of the blue, Rose and her gang pushed her out of the way dropping her backpack. Rose is the most popular student at Jeikin High school. And therefore it was a privilege to be part of her gang.

"Oops sorry weirdo didn't see your creepy ass," says Rose.

The whole gang busted out laughing.

Joe saw this scene and came to help Emily pack her books again, her heart skipped a beat the moment her eyes met his peach-colored eyes. His coffee sent lingering in her nostrils. He helped her up.

"Hi I'm Emily " blushing

"Yes I know," says Joe smiling

"Of course, we are in the same class how foolish of me"

"oh, that's no problem, I'm Joe..."

"oh yes I know, "says Emily cutting him short

"oh okay, Errrm aah so are you free this Saturday?"

"YEAH YEAH, sorry I mean I have nothing doing I sleep all day sorry what I meant was yeah.

"So do you mind grabbing a drink with me? if you don't mind, errrr you can choose to mind if ....." says Joe shyly

"Of course, I don't mind, that would be fantastic I mean nice"

"Can I get your number?"

"I've sent it to you?"

"Errrm how did you, never mind will text you the address. See you there then ". Says Joe smiling.

"oh okay bye ".

"Phew! that was tense and he knows my name, he asked me out too," says Emily jubilating.

Meanwhile, Rose saw everything that transpired between the two. So she called Emily from afar,

"Hey wiredo "

"ooh Dammn it! not this crook again" Emily whispered.

"I saw you flirting with my man and you know the consequence of that," says Rose

"I asked joe and he said , he is single?" Emily replied in an unsure manner.

"You dare talk back?" Says one of the gang members.

"I will spare u today and we shall me at the address my man will send you be prepared for what's coming," says Rose whispering in Emily's ear.

Emily felt goosebumps all over her body for a brief moment she felt the change in Rose's aura and it was like she was a whole different person or something different entirely. She later found that absurd and pushed it the back of her mind.

So Emily headed home still thinking of her date with her crush. Emily Cartonston is a young girl raised by her grandparents in a small city called Olinsen, although the Cartonston family wasn't poor they were not rich either. They were middle-class citizens. Emily's grandparents believe that they come from a long line of Magical trolls, which Emily never believed and always thought was something related to old age. As a result of this, all their neighbors call them all kinds of wired names.

Emily arrived home and saw her grandmother sowing which was unusual.

"Errrrm what are you doing?" asked Emily in a confusing tone.

"Was school so bad that you forgot to greet your below granny?" says Gramma Hannah

"Sorry Granny, Good Afternoon My pearl"

"Aww I'm heartbroken my Diamond has forgotten how to greet her pearl" says Gramma faking to cry.

"No need for the drama Granny"

Emily went to kiss her granny on her cheek and greeted her again. And her grandma kissed her on her forehead.

"And that's how it's done, So back to your question, the spirit visited us this morning, and they say is almost your time...", says Grandma.

"Hold on my time for what? And it still doesn' answer why you are sowing?"

Emily got a text from Joe, which was the address and the time.

"calm down young lady one question at a time and lemme finish talking, your time to attain your magical powers and we will be having the big ceremony here so I'am sowing this for you" says Hannah

"This fairy tale and myth has really gotten to you guys ",Emily blurted out

Grammar Hannah eyed here

" So errm when is this your spirity troll magic stuff happening?" Says Emily smiling.

Grandpa Peter hugged her from behind and kissed her.

"This Spirity troll magic stuff will be happening on Sataurday 7:30 prompt" Grandpa Peter said laughing.
