The Beast Within

"Haaaa...Haaaaa"

Deep within the white void laid down a kid who breathing heavily. He was all bruised all over and was bleeding badly all over

And that Kid was Shin

It had been 4 months since Shin had entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and so far he had pushed himself to his beyond countless times. Even though he was badly injured, Shin dragged himself towards the entrance and grabbed the bag of Senzu beans. Shin quickly counted and found that even though he started his training 2 months ago, he only had around 20 senzu beans left. he quickly grabbed one and ate and immediately felt power flowing in his body

Once felt better he quickly jumped off the ground and go lay down. He decided he needed a little break before he continued on with his training. He needed to rest since his body was fully ready, his mind was extremely tired

Shin quickly got on the bed and closed his eyes as he thought about what he did during these 4 months. He had two things he had to do besides getting strong.

Master and break the limits of the Kaioken and unlock his Wrathful form

For the Kaioken, this was an important thing for him to master and he was quickly doing that. Shin was able to increase the power of the Kaioken from regular Kaioken to Kaioken x10 and was getting close to Kaioken x11. But that's where the issue arrives. Even though his body can quickly adapt to the power of the Kaioken, too much power in one time would be extremely bad and his body wouldn't be able to adapt in time before he gets extremely injured. That's how he got badly hurt just a few minutes ago. That's where the wrathful form comes in

The wrathful form gives the increase of power and durability of a great ape while retaining movement and speed. He planned to combine the power of the wrathful state and the kaioken to become stronger than ever before. Even if he didn't have the Kaioken, unlocking the wrathful form would be a big improvement and would be worth it in the end.

Shin got off his bed since he had enough rest and went back out into the void to train again but before he did, he closed his eyes and crossed his legs as started to feel within himself

"What is this feeling inside of me? It feels so familiar like I knew it my entire life still yet unfamiliar. Every time it looks so close that I can touch it yet it's still out of reach. Like the end of the tunnel, looks so close yet it's still so far away"

It was a feeling he had ever since he was brought into this world. A voice calling out to him wanting to be reunited once more. It was always in his head sometimes loud, sometimes silent. It sounded so ancient yet so powerful that it could crush anything with a single thought. Shin wants.. no needs to find out was it was. Besides it being feeling similar and powerful, it also sounded like...

His own

He slapped himself "Snape out of it Shin you can always find out later! Right now you need to get back to training. you don't need any distractions"

He then quickly got up and began to train again. He pushed all of his thoughts to the back of his mind and fully focused on the training. Even though he did that, he still couldn't shake off the feeling he had before. It still felt so close

"KAIOKENX15!"

A Bright crimson light flashed out in the void and the source of the light was coming from Shin

He could only hold it for a few minutes before he fully gave out and landed on his butt

"Haaa... Still better than last time. I'm so close!"

2 more months had passed in a blink of an eye. And shin quickly grew in power during that time. Besides getting stronger overall, His kaioken progress was going good as well. He managed to break the barrier of kaiokenx11 and almost reached the level of kaiokenx15. Even though he had good progress, he still had one thing that wasn't going well. The wrathful state

He thought it would be easy but soonly realized something

He didn't know how to achieve it!

He tried multiple to unlock either by powering up or getting mad. countless times he tried to do it yet nothing seemed to work. He even stubbed his toe on the table on purpose just for the sake of getting mad

He almost blew up the exit

He just concluded that maybe he wasn't strong enough for it yet or simply didn't have enough S cells

Shin decided to take a break since he pushed himself hard. he didn't need a senzu bean as he wasn't that injured unlike before. He then closed his eyes and started to meditate as he usually does but this was different the feeling he had before was back and it was stronger than ever

"it's so close unlike before! I can reach it finally"

Unlike all the times before Shin could see the light closer and brighter than ever before. As he reached out to it, he heard the voice once again speaking out to him. getting louder and louder as he got closer

unbeknownst to him, his red ki started to slowly pour out of him and as he was getting closer it started to leak out more and more until he reached his full power subconsciously

"I need it, I need it, I need it, I need it, I NEED IT!"

the voices were getting louder and louder until they reached the point that it was screaming. Never in his life has he felt that he needed something so badly. the feeling it radiated was so intoxicating to him! only when he was about to touch it did he realize what he was craving. the thing he was reaching for...

Power! ultimate power!

"GIVE IT TO ME!"

then he finally did it. He touched It! Then he heard the voice once more time

"Let us be whole!

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Shin screamed like a great ape and his Ki started to explode! his red ki radiating everywhere covering the whole white void red. His hair grew longer and his eyes started to change into a different color. He was overflowing in power he never had before that it was so stimulating. eventually, it was too much for him to withstand, and he completely blacked out

"My head ahhh"

After a few hours, Shin finally woke, and before he could say anything, he felt completely different

"Why do I feel so powerful? I feel I can crush anything!"

But before he could think anymore. he felt something coming. something so powerful that needs to be released

"I NEED TO USE THE BATHROOM!"

Shin didn't think about it anymore as he rushed inside and straight to the bathroom. He couldn't worry about it since he was in an emergency

So shin spent the next hour on the toilet and it was only until he washed his hands did he realize something was wrong

"What's going on? why do I look so different?"

He washed his face one more time before everything he was seeing was true. His hair that he usually kept short was so long that it went to his shoulders(ss4 Goku hair) and his eyes that were always black changed into a piercing glowing yellow. That's when he realized

"Is this..my Wrath State!?"

It has to be! that could only explain it. Shin went outside and back into the void and powered up

"AAAAAAAAAA"

"HAAAAAAAAA"

Shins ki fully erupted out of him. his Ki was much stronger than ever before. Power he never had was now his own. He knew he was in a realm all by himself now

"Now how do I turn it off?"

From what he learned from the story, turning off a form was like second nature and you can turn it off immediately once you acquired it. Shin tried for a few minutes to turn off his new form but for some reason couldn't

"Why can't I turn it off!?"

Tried as he might, he still couldn't turn it off after a few minutes. Shin just decided to give and meditate once more as that always calmed him down and what he saw surprised him greatly

The ball of light was still there!

"How?! even after I reached it how come it's still there!?!"

Many questions were going through his mind! Why he can't turn off his wrathful from? what was that voice? But there was one thing he knew and it was that everything was connected to this ball of light!

Shin didn't try to reach out for it as he knew he wasn't strong enough to reach it.

"I don't know what the hell is going on but if I continue to get stronger eventually I will reach it again and maybe then I'll get my answers"

Shin still had 6 more months to go before he would have to leave the chamber and that's plenty enough time for him to get stronger and get some answers. He didn't bother with the form anymore as it seemed to integrated with his base from so he can never turn it off

After a few more minutes of pondering, he quickly got up and began to train harder than ever before. If he wanted to reach the ball of light he had to get stronger and that's what he was going to do
