Instead of being shocked or afraid that her husband might blame her, the woman burst out in soft laughter. "There's no one here. Why don't you drop the act?"
Annoyed, Fan Chuan said in an irritated voice, "I told you not to touch her, didn't I? Why didn't you listen to me?"
Yi Xia went to her husband and hugged him from behind. With a soft, gentle voice, she said, "She's such a brat, thinking that she's still the heir. If she knew who it was that caused her parents' deaths, do you think she would still call you uncle?"
Hearing the words that came out of her mouth, Fan Chuan turned around and hissed, "Lower your voice. Do you want the whole world to know?"
Yi Xia kissed her husband on the lips before saying, "Chuan, get rid of her. We have our own children, we need to think about them. As long as she's here, our children would never be able to inherit."
"I know," Fan Chuan sighed as he hugged his wife. Indeed, he knew that she was right. As long as his niece was alive, the money and everything else would fall into her hands one day. He could treat her nicely, but there was no guarantee that she would be good to them once she grew up.
He placed a kiss on his wife's head before saying, "I've been thinking about it. My brother is smart. In his will, he stated that if anything happens to him and his daughter, the money would only be transferred to the next-of-kin a portion at a time after the date when his daughter is supposed to turn 18!"
Yi Xia frowned. "Still, we need to get rid of her quickly. There's also your eldest brother."
At the mention of his oldest brother, Fan Chuan frowned. He gently pushed his wife aside and leaned against the table that Little Fan Wushuang was hiding under.
While he was thinking about his difficult oldest brother, he glanced at the framed photo of him and his two older brothers on his table.
In that photo, they were still in elementary school and their relationships were good back then.
"We can't go back anymore…" thought Fan Chuan. When he thought about what he did to his older brother and his innocent sister-in-law, there was an expression of guilt that flitted past his eyes at that moment. Ever since their father handed over everything to his older brother, Fan Chuan made his decision to do this.
"She's not supposed to live…" Fan Chuan thought angrily as he stared at the photo of his late older brother. If Little Fan Wushuang had died that day, Fan Chuan would not have to do this all by himself.
He loved his niece… but he had a family to think for.
Looking at one of the framed photos of his own children on his desk, he then flipped the framed photo of his brothers and placed it face-down on the table.
Looking at his wife, he said coldly, "I know that my oldest brother is still out there. He's still missing at the moment but once he knew what had happened to Lei and his wife, he would come back for sure. He would definitely fight for the custody! I can't have the girl falls into his hands, or all the money would be his!"
"Then what should we do?" asked Yi Xia as she went to him. She then removed his buttons one by one.
Fan Chuan did not stop her. As she was unbuttoning his shirt, he said, "I've planned for a holiday trip. We'll take the kids for a camping trip… And you know, things happen during camping."
"Ah, my smart husband… You've thought well…" murmured Yi Xia as she removed her own shirt. She then went forward to place a kiss on his lips before she rubbed herself against him.
The two then did it right there on the table.
Little Fan Wushuang who was underneath the table did not make a noise. Neither did she cry. Instead, in her eyes, there was a blankness in it, as if she could not believe what she had just heard.
Her second uncle who she thought had loved her was only using her for money. He killed her parents for it, and now he was going after her…
"Uncle Shaohang," Little Fan Wushuang thought. A thud from above caused her to wince and she immediately covered her mouth with her hands before she glanced up.
The table was carved out from good quality wood and was pretty sturdy. However, what bothered her thought process was the moaning and grunting sound that was coming from above the table.
"Gross…" Little Fan Wushuang thought as she stuck her tongue out in disgust. When the sounds got louder as the two adults got even more heated, she covered her ears with her hands. If they found her now, she knew that she would be as good as dead. Even if those sounds bothered her, she had to remain quiet and stay invisible for as long as possible.
To distract herself, she quickly thought about her currently missing Uncle Shaohang. Prior to this, she had the intention to ask him to be her guardian, but now…
"He probably craves for my inheritance as well…" she thought sadly. Her Uncle Shaohang loved her deeply, that was what her father always said. But then, her father also told her that her Uncle Chuan loved her as well.
Who could she trust now?
"Not so easy… " Little Fan Wushuang thought as she dug her nails into her knees. With a determined expression, she thought as she glared at the pairs of feet that were peeking from underneath the table, "I won't let you guys succeed… I'm Fan Wushuang; no one can get rid of me that easily!"
