Part 2

It was not someone that pulled him but something. His vision changed. He was on some planet. Vormir. Interesting, it was not the planet that pulled him here.

It was something else. Ichibe blinked and in front of him, he saw an orange stone. The Soul Stone. It was this that called him here.

They shared a connection with each other. Like siblings. No, not siblings. More like father and son.

No, also not that. It was closer to something else. The soul stone radiated energy in short bursts. It seemed to be happy to see him.

"Hoho, I'm happy to see you too. But for some reason, I'm not sure why though."

The energy of the soul stone entered him and started to nurture him. It gave him a very warm feeling. It was a lot of power that entered him, but he was able to keep his mind easily.

After his meditation, which took multiple months, by the way, he let go of greed.

The energy of the soul stone strengthened him and nurtured him. The soul stone felt, that he had not eaten anything for months and sent the energy to fill him up. But he didn't stop there.

Ichibe then realized what this was. It was a loving relationship with the stone. They belonged together. The soul stone was the singularity of souls but in the end, it was only that, a stone. It needed a place to call home.

And Ichibe was that place. He was the glove that would host the soul stone.

Ichibe was the missing piece to complete the soul stone. That was also why a sacrifice was needed to get the soul stone. You had to open up a place in your heart for the soul stone, so that it may become whole again.

But that was only temporary and would not satisfy the soul stone entirely.

The answer was Ichibe. He was its missing piece and he was where the soul stone belonged. That's why the stone was so happy to see him.

Ichibe had a big smile on his face. He could feel it too. A strong sense of belonging and completeness flowed through him.

What happened next cannot be explained in words, but Ichibe returned to Okinoshima the next moment. He had an even bigger smile on him.

He was finally complete and ready to tackle whatever would be thrown his way.

Ichibe looked at himself. He had grown taller to about 6'1'' or 185cm. He had not gained much muscle mass, but they were packed with immeasurable strength and explosive power. He looked like the skinnier version of Son Goku.

Ichibe calmed down. All that energy made him giddy to use it. So he focused on his power. He searched for a direction of where to go. So he looked at thousands of paths that lay before him and looked for the one with the correct name.

He found one path. After looking at the names of all the ways he could go, he finally found the path which he was supposed to take. Or at least the best one for him.

This was the answer to his earlier question about what he should do now. And he got his answer.

So Ichibe Hyosube got up and started his long journey.

Standing at the edge of the small cliff of Okinoshima, he looked out at sea. It was not a very big island.

He knew that he should be able to stand on air with his power. He should be able to use spirit energy and make it come together under his feet. But he had never used it before.

He let his instincts take over and just took a step forward. Just as he had hoped, Ichibe stood one meter off the cliff, in the air. It was not flying but standing on condensed spirit energy.

He took another step. And another. And so on until he got the hang of it.

Another big smile threatened to split his face in half. He was ecstatic about this. What a feeling this was, to just stand on air and travel this way.

Ichibe felt full of energy. And therefore, he increased his speed. Slowly, so that he won't fall into the water.

He got faster and faster until he was running in the air. His speed got so fast that only a flash was visible. It was a thrilling feeling for him.

Just let everything go and enjoy the wind that hit his face on his way to China.

.

As Ichibe was running, he went over some of the powers he knew Ichibe to have.

Ichibe Hyosube, the Monk who calls the name, was one of the strongest characters in Bleach. He had the power of true name manipulation. This meant that he would know all the true names of everything and anyone.

But that was not all. With that knowledge, he could also manipulate the true names. And names are not just means of identification. No, they are so much more.

'True names', are an individual's metaphysical essence that sets it apart from everything else. This should not be confused with identity.

One's true name governs on the most fundamental level, essentially being the basis of everything's uniqueness. From people to individual atoms, each one has a metaphysical identity that creates individuality throughout the totality.

So, by manipulating true names, users can control the very essence of everything, such as stripping them of their characteristics and giving them new ones.

As was shown with Ichimonji, Ichibe's Zanpakuto, he can use his power to kick ass and literally take names.

Apart from that, Ichibei's name also carries a curse upon it. Those who are unworthy to speak it will lose their voices if they do so.

This may create some problems, but it also acts as a protection for Ichibei. Those that are not worthy to speak his name could very well be enemies or bad people.

Another ability he has is Spirit Appendage Manifestation. He can manifest giant representations of his hands and feet to attack. Just like his attack: Senri Tsūtenshō.

Ichibe was sure that there was more to this than just this palm attack. He wanted to create something akin to 100-handed Guanyin. The ability of Isaac Netero.

He was sure that this was possible. He would achieve this with some practice. Similar to Isaac Netero was the technique from Hashirama Senju. Senjutsu: true several thousand hands.

That was a bit too big for close quarters but he was going to replicate that as well.

Another thing was Kido. Ichibe was a Kido master. There were no incantations needed for him and no number. Only the name had to be said.

He also knew the hidden Kidos that were very powerful. Those are things that he will use in this life.

The last thing that may also be one of the most important is his wisdom. With his innate ability to see the true nature of his opponent and his diverse skillset, Ichibe is also a very adaptable strategist.

The ability to stay calm and judge the situation correctly is very powerful.

And he had that as well. Our Ichibe has noticed how calm and how poised he had gotten. He felt like the ocean that had so much depth to it. And while it may appear wild and unruly on the surface, it is nothing to the calmness and power that lay deep down.
