The Masked man walked suddenly appeared in the corridor and started to walk to the end of it, Today was unexpected, It's been a very long time since a human tried to enter the forbidden land, He was aware that he used too much unnecessary power to stop that human but he had too, To teach her a lesson, He used enough power just to lose her consciousness but not enough to kill her, But if she tried to come back again then he will need to teach her a harsher lesson.

"You look angry, Adonis? What happened?" Jason, his younger brother asked as he followed him to his room.

Adonis entered his room and placed the mask on the table before he turned to look at his brother.

"A human girl tried to enter the forbidden land, I had to stop her." Adonis replied as he unbuttoned his coat and removed it.

Hearing this Jason frowned.

"What did you do?" He asked, hoping that he did not kill the human girl.

"I didn't kill her, I just taught her a small lesson." Adonis replied.

"Brother, Don't you think it's time, It's been centuries that our kind is forbidden to go to the human land, Why don't you..."

"You know my answer to this and if we do not repeat this decision, They chose these rolls, not us, I am only trying to protect what is left of our kind." Adonis replied, cutting off his brother.

Jason nodded his head in understanding.

"I will leave you to rest." Jason bowed to his brother before he left the room.

After his brother left, Adonis let out a long sigh. His brother was right, But he can take that risk. Humans are greedy creatures and he didn't want history to repeat itself. Living like this is much safer for their kind.

The following days, Lily didn't go to the forest, She spent most of her time helping her mother with her work, After her father passed away, Her mother had to find a job to support them, Her mother started tailoring cloth for the people in her town, Her mother was very good at making clothes, It wasn't much money but it was enough to make them survive through the month.

Lily wanted to find a job to help support them but her mother refused, saying that she was still young for working when she was eighteen years old.

Lily was always loved and spoiled by her parents. After giving birth to her they decided to not have more kids. They wanted to raise her well and make her finish her education, But after her father's death, She had to stop going to school because her mother wasn't eating enough money.
