Chapter 73 (it is love)

It was still the night and Ellie sat in front of her vanity table, humming her favorite song and brushing her hair. She was dressed in a sky blue satin night robe and she was getting ready to go to bed.

While she sat there still, a knock came on the door. She already knew that it was Alma so she urged her to come in.

"Good evening my -"

"My what, Alma? My princess?" Ellie cut in. "I have told you severally that whenever you are with me, you should call me by my name and not my princess or whatever it was you wanted to say."

"Sorry Ellie." Alma corrected herself.

"That's better. Anyways,'' she turned around facing her, " I have missed you. I haven't seen you all day. Where have you been?"

"Attending to duties." Alma went and sat on the bed, "I am very exhausted. And honestly, I am very sorry that I couldn't watch you train. Hope it went well?"
