THE MENTALIST

"Power of Desire?" ,Russell asked in doubt. He said, "What is that?"

"Are you kidding me?" ,Gnan asked in surprise and disdain, "You were the one who is controlling these shadows. And yet you don't know what exactly they were?"

Russell didn't say anything. In fact, he didn't even turn back. His focus was entirely on Arjun as he was seeking answers.

Arjun shook his head and said, "So who entered the Crawley's Boneyard?"

"Who the hell are you?" ,Russell jumped in fright. He was shocked when he heard Arjun's question. He asked, "How do you know about the Crawley's Boneyard?"

Arjun smiled in return. He didn't reply. He said, "So you people have been there before. That means, you are carrying that black stick with you as well, right?"

"Just who exactly are you? How do you know about all this?" ,Russell felt fear when he looked at Arjun. He felt as if he was stripped naked in public as Arjun was so casually revealing all his secrets.

"No wonder why you could create those shadows." ,Arjun shook his head and said, "Which means, you couldn't use the Power of Desire! That means, you are not a Mentalist!"

"Desire? Mentalist?" ,Gnan felt as if he is about to go crazy. He looked at Arjun and said, "Just what the hell are you talking about? Could you explain it to us instead of putting us in mystery?"

Arjun smiled in return. He said, "Mental Energy is a mysterious concept. If you train it more deeply before hastily training to the next level, then it will unlock a nee realm of power. This power has the ability to counter even the Dao Energy!"

"What?" ,Be it Gutherson and Gnan. Or be it Russell. Even the people outside the forest who were watching everything were shocked. Even Xavier and Miller were stunned. This topic is something they were hearing for the first time.

Arjun continued, "Body cultivation and mental cultivation are two different concepts. The advanced power for Body Cultivation is Dao. As for the Mental Cultivation, the advanced power is Power of Desire."

Arjun continued, "People generally don't or avoid their cultivation in Mental Energy. But if you train it deeper, then you will understand that there is a mysterious power hidden very deeply within the Mental Energy. That it, Power of Desire. And the one who wields the Power of Desire is none other than the Mentalist!"

Arjun continued, "There is one power that could counter the Dao. And that is the Power of Desire! The black stick in your possession was from the ancient Mentalist. His name is Crawley. Mentalists could raise their rankings as well. It starts from Level 1. But it has no limits. Crawley's Mental Power actually reached the Level 2. That means his Power of Desire had thr power to counter the Power of Laws!"

"Laws! You mean the Sovereign of Law?" ,Gnan asked in astonishment.

"That's right!" ,Arjun said, "Level 1 could counter the power of Dao. Level 2 could counter the power of Laws!"

"So that's how it is. This is the reason why my Dao power was not affective on his shadows. Because their power originated from the Level 2 of the power of Desire." ,Gutherson finally understood why his Dao was not affective against the shadows.

"But what about that stuff you said regarding Black Stick?" ,Gnan asked. He didn't understand anything. At this point, he looked at Arjun as if he is looking at a completely different person. He don't understand how exactly Arjun knew all this secret information. After all, it's been just around seven years since they came to the Astral World.

So how much would they know in this seven years? And what's more, most of the time they didn't come out from their small house in the Solar City. They didn't know anything about the outside world.

And yet his son speaking as if he was a local who had the experience of a million years. How could Gnan won't be suspicious?

But he could clarify it later. The entire crowd is watching all this. So he don't want to make things difficult for his son.

Arjun smiled in return. He didn't say how he knew all this information. But he said about the Black Stick, "Crawley was one of the strongest person in terms of Mental Energy! He manifested into power and had developed the ability to slay the people from the Celestial Realm! And he did it when he was in the God Realm. But his obsession with dominance didn't stop there. He trained very hard. And then his Mental Energy reached the Level 2. With that, he developed the power to fight against the gods in the legend!"

Arjun continued, "People called him of crazy man. After all, how could a mere mortal kill an immortal god? It was impossible in the wildest imagination of a person. And yet he claims that he could kill the God? It was impossible."

Arjun continued, "But Crawley didn't stop there. He didn't care what people thought about him. He thought that he should show it with his actions. And then he continuously started to provoke a weakest God. He intentionally started to destroy all his churches and temples. He started to massacre all his devotees. And then, he finally attracted the attention of that god."

Arjun continued, "The war broke out between Crowley and that god. This battle was worth to watch. So the heavenly telecast started. All the people in the universe started to watch the battle. As the battle progressed, people became numb with the destruction. But then, the unexpected thing happened. Crawley finally managed to kill that god using his power of desire!"

When he heard this, not only Russell but every person outside the forest were stunned. A mortal actually managed to kill a god? What kind of concept is this?

Arjun continued, "The death of that god finally made the other gods take Crawley seriously. They ganged up and killed him when he was weak. In order to set him as an example, they buried his corpse in the boneyard. In order to show that, if anyone has any crazy idea like Crawley, they named that boneyard as the Crawley's Boneyard!"

Russell and others were shocked. They never thought such a history happened in the God Realm. But then, how come they didn't know anything about such an earthshaking history? If it was such a massive and important battle, then they should have been told this by their ancestors right? How come such a massive thing was not told to them by their ancestors?
