Lawrence's Claws
Lawrence is a Beta werewolf; the second in command to Andrea Kant, the Alpha werewolf- the leader of the pack of werewolves in Alaska. Andrea Kant came to power by killing Edwin Lambcot, the Alpha before him, through coup d'etat. Now, Andrea Kant is dying. He has been shot with a silver bullet, and has not been able to recover from it, which is not supposed to be if he is truly an Alpha, Suspicions are rising as to him not being a real Alpha.When Andrea Kant is no more, Lawrence Witherspoon will replace him, because Lawrence is a True Alpha, who was chosen by the gods as announced by the priest, Callum York, and has grown from the position of an Omega wolf to the position of Beta wolf he occupies for now, until he becomes the Alpha of the pack, but he needs to get his mate assigned to him by Selene, their goddess, before he can be enthroned. If Lawrence does not find his mate before Andrea dies, he will not be able to be king till another lifetime. He needs the combined strength of his mate to fight his enemies in this lifetime, unless he will die untimely, because there is a powerful and evil Alpha werewolf, living somewhere unknown, who has the power to kill him, if he becomes king without a mate.
