The nurse added, "At least this time, you're not as hurt as before... and neither is your friend Skyler."
Malcom smiled, took his things, and left the room. He looked at Ben, and coming closer, he asked, "Are you still upset?"
Ben nodded and replied, "But now I'm more confused than anything else." Malcom looked at him, and the boy, seeing the hammer, said, "I don't know if I want to use this thing again... I don't know what to do."
Malcom looked at the hammer before he took a deep breath, and then said, "Listen. I know it sounds insensitive, but I am telling you with all my heart, those people will not come back to life."
Ben looked at him unhappily. He tried to explain himself, "I was just―"
"Ben," Malcom interrupted and shook his head. He added, "Whoever made the hammer was responsible for its fate, and if you don't use it, someone else will do it for sure. Make sure you put those people's sacrifices to good use."
