Chapter 1 : a Cliché Beginning

Satoshi had just got home from work. And again, the first thing he did was go straight to the his dark room and press the power button of the computer. Then he went to the kitchen. He was going to get some leftovers in the fridge, but there wasn't much left to eat. Satoshi sighed and said,

"Another shitty day"

He headed to the door and got outside. He entered the convenience store just across the street. He picked up a wrapped bread to make a sandwich and put it under his armpit. He was going to buy cheese and ham from the aisle ahead.

As he was reaching for one of the cheapest brands of ham from the shelf, his hand bumped to an elderly hand. They were about to buy the same product. After a brief eye contact with the old man, the old man smiled and said in an affectionate voice

 "Are you going to feed the stray animals too?"

 Satoshi smiled back, just like the old man did but at the same time, tears were falling from his eyes, 

He said in a high-pitched voice "O-of course I am !!" took the ham and headed for the cash register.

Satoshi's had no expression but weirdly tears were coming out of his eyes. The cute petite cashier at the checkout curiously,

"Are you okay??"

after he put the items through the checkout. Satoshi closed his eyes and nodded with his head then took out his card and paid.

He got back home, shut the door and laughed while his back leaning to the door he sighed,

''I guess I'm really living like a stray animal…" 

He straightened up and went to the kitchen to prepare his sandwich. Then he went to his room and sat in front of computer.

While he was browsing social media, he looked at the stories posted by his friends whom he had last seen in middle or high school, and thought 

''Their lives looks fun…''

He moved his chair a little away from the computer and leaned his head back and looked up to the ceiling. After a while, he closed his eyes with his hands and stayed like that. In a low and a little sad voice

"I wonder what I should do ? tomorrow will be as boring as every other day, I want to do something different… You know something exciting!! I'm tired of this shitty life." 

He removed his hands from his eyes, straightened his sitting posture and pulled himself towards the computer.

''Excitement! excitement!! Excitement!!! the most logical thing would be the find something to do that get my adrenaline up, maybe I should start gym''

He thought about starting gym for a moment 

''No, I'm too inconsistent for that... Why don't I just start something that will get my adrenaline pumped... Maybe I should try extreme sports. I always wanted to try that in high school."

He had finally found something that he could agree with and now it was just a matter of which extreme sport to choose. After checking out a few extreme sports 

"I guess this would be the simplest one to start with"

He watched videos of people doing bungee jumping. He nodded like he decided what he wanted to do then found a place for bungee jumping a few hours away from his home. He called the number on the website and signed up for the weekend.

*2 days later the weekend has finally come*

Satoshi was in a good mood, partly because it was the weekend, He headed towards his crappy (vespa model) motorcycle in front of his house.

As if he was getting himself pumped up "Look at this monster!!!''

Due to his boring and a little lonely life, Satoshi often talk to himself like this when he was alone.

He jumped on his bike, entered the location of his destination on phone, placed it in front of him and set off. After half an hour he finally arrived at the jumping site, which he had seen pictures of on the internet, he looked up towards the jumping ground 

"Shit… I didn't think 100 meters would be that high"

 Before going up, he headed towards the small building right in front of him. He opened the door and headed towards the reception desk. At the reception desk there was a very fit woman with short hair. He looked at her

"H-hi, I'm here for bungee jumping, this is my first time. I'm little nervous" 

She smiled to reassure him

"Hello, we need your name for your registration and we need to measure your weight on the scale that behind you."

After the necessary procedures were done, Satoshi went out. A moment later, two staff members came and greeted Satoshi. They helped him to wear his harness and then escorted him to the jumping ground. 

As he was going up he thought "I wonder if I should never have come here, it's really high up there, and I guess I didn't notice before that I was afraid of height...". 

When he arrived at the top, saw how much fun people were having. He relaxed a little. Some people were jumping down in ridiculous poses, others were role playing and pushing their friends down as if they were kicking them…

It was finally his turn. Although he had been relieved a short while ago, when he got to the platform and looked down, the relief was gone. He began to feel dizzy. One of the staff attaching the ropes to his harnesses noticed the situation

"Is this your first time?"

With a stiff smile

"Yes" 

The staff were done and now it was time to jump. Even though Satoshi wanted to jump, his legs were not moving. The staff member he had spoken to a short while ago stepped forward

"I can give you a little push if you want"

 Although this staff member was a kind and sweet person, when it came to bungee jumping, he couldn't resist playing practical jokes. Even though Satoshi didn't want to be pushed, his legs weren't moving

"I guess that wouldn't be so bad!"

Then the staff member approached Satoshi… When the staff member was close enough to push him,

"If you want, count to three and I'll push you when you say three."

Satoshi nodded and closed his eyes while counting 

"O-one one two ...." even though he restarted counting a few times, he finally managed to say "T-THREE!!!".

Right after he got pushed, the staff member

"Ohh shit, we forgot to tie the ropes !!!" and then he laughed.

Unfortunately, all Satoshi heard was the staff had forgotten to tie the ropes. After falling down 50 or 60 meters, while screaming and cursing to the staff. With a sudden pain in his heart, he thought that he is going to lose consciousness, or at least thought that he will lose consciousness...

After a while, Satoshi opened his eyes on the ground and couldn't believe his eyes. He was now on the ground where they had jumped, but he was in one piece. He confused. He curiously looked around and saw a man.

This man was a big and muscular. with his black coat, sunglasses and a grim reaper scythe on his back, had sharp jawline and a tattoo stretching from his neck to his forehead, approached to Satoshi. As he looked at Satoshi on the ground, then with his deep voice

"How long do you plan to sit ?"

Satoshi was confused "Wh-Who are you!?"

The man replied in a deep voice, "I am your father!! Kid Haha…"

Satoshi was about to curse but the man pointed up and with same deep voice

"Look!"

Satoshi turned his head up and couldn't believe what he saw, his unconscious body swinging like a sack of shit. Satoshi was beginning to think that he had fainted after the jump, and he thought 

'I must be dreaming'

Then the man, in a cheerful voice

"You... you really are a different case. Haha... I have never s…''.

 Satoshi ignored what the man said and calmed down while he watched his body continuing to swing like a sack of shit. Finally Satoshi decided to get up from the ground. He got up in an energetic way and started to circle around the man.

When he was in front of him, he stopped and approached his face and squeezed his cheeks

"Wow, it's so real , like I'm awake" 

The man was confused "Hu-huh !? What the hell do you think you're doing?!?"

Satoshi once more ignored what the man said and kept walk around the man. When got behind the man gave him a good spank on the ass and started laughing

''Hehe that made it feel even more real, Who's whose daddy now? Huh!?''

The man turned to Satoshi in frustration. Satoshi put his hand under his chin and after a very short thought,

'let's challenge myself before I wake up, I bet nothing will rise up down there!'

He moved closer to the man's face 

"If its just a dream its not homo budy"

Then, as he moved his lips closer to the man's lips, the man pushed him back and pulled his gun out of his coat and said in an enraged voice

"WHAT!!... What kind of nonsense am I dealing with?!?"

Then sighed and in a calmer mood

"This time I leave the explanation to you.'' 

He pulled the trigger. Satoshi got shot in the head before he could even react…

Sitting on his knees with the support of his hands, Satoshi slowly began to open his eyes while he was facing the ground. After a short while, Satoshi didn't understand what he was looking at, he was sitting on darkness. He immediately put his hand to his crotch before looking up and around, he relieved 

''Ohhh… nothing has risen!!''

The only thing in the room that is not dark like the floor is an attractive woman with red hair, blue eyes, a lewd dress, and an eye-catching breast, sitting cross-legged and leaning back on a throne made of fire in front of him.

She began to stare at Satoshi with her sharp gaze. At that moment Satoshi looked down,

He thought 'Yet!! Nothing has risen yet.'
