The Root pt.1

"Is that the kid?"

"Yes, We wait here and wait for orders"

"Alright"

Yato was walking to the academy by himself since Shino had alreadt went ahead of him but he wasnt aware of the 2 masked shinobi following him on his way there. These 2 masked ninja had the standard anbu uniform on but they both lacked the standard anbu tatoo on their shoulders.

Danzo: "He turned the corner, there's no one in the area, confront him NOW!"

Root Anbu 1 & 2: "Yes Sir"

The both teleported in front of Yato completely blocking of his path.(I know its shunshin but typing shunshinned looks weird for some reason) Yato jumped at the sudden appearance of the 2 masked ninja and jumped back in the best fightning position he could make.

Root Anbu 1: "Stand down, we mean no harm."

Yato: "Did I do something wrong?"

Root Anbu 1: "No. We are here to ask if you want to join the Root Anbu?"

Yato: "Root? Whats that"

Upon this question Danzo smirked and emerged himself from the shadows.

Danzo: "The Root Anbu are the special forces of Konoha. We protect Konoha from outside enemies and future threats to the vilage. You do love the village and want to keep your friends and family safe right?"

Yato: "Of course!"

Danzo: "Then join us, we only scout children with great potential and train them to become strong enough to protect the village. This is a rare oppertunity among your generation!"

Yato: Really!!- Wait how do I know your not lying or anything"

Danzo: "Because not only am I a village elder, but my sensei was also the second hokage and the thrid was my past time"

Yato: "Then you must be really really strong!"

Danzo: "So does that mean you'll join my Root Anbu and get stronger?"

Yato: "Yes Please!"

Yato followed Danzo into a place he had never been before. Danzo took Yato to a stone wall and Yato was confused at first but Danzo and the other 2 root ninja walked right through the wall. The wall was a simple and undetectable genjutsu meant to trick others and if anyone was to accidently stumble upon there, they was to be killed on sight.

The group enetered a room that had a chair and a light hovering over it and another root anbu standing beside the chair.

Root Anbu: "Is this the new recruit?"

Danzo: "Yes. Yato, sit in that chair, we have to put a cursed seal on your tongue."

Yato: "Uhh...Ok" 'Why my tongue?'

Yato did as told and as requested he stuck his tongue out. The root anbu that was by the chair started drawing the seal on Yato's tongue. Once that seal was placed there, there was no esaping it in the future.

Danzo: "I warn you know, If you try to talk about the Root or try and go bragging to your friends, your body will become paralyzed and render you unable to talk untill deactivation, go it."

Yato: "Yes..."

Danzo: "You are still in academy so we will begin your training. I will have my my Root train your Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, Shurikenjutsu, Kenjutsu, Medical Ninjutsu and I have one Root member that can help you with clan arts and secret techniques. If you wanna learn anything else feel free to ask!"

Yato: "Ok!"

Danzo: "You 3 may leave and go train, I'll give you all 4 years, I expect good results. Send a clone to the academy to substitute for him. Whatever team you get assigned to, you will participate in missions and do undercover work, Am I clear?"

Yato + Anbu: "YES!"

[I bet you didn't expect hi m to join the root did you? He's only 8 years old so think he would just straight up become a genius and call danzo out. He thinks he's doing good for the village, he'll find out later on but until then, He will be an undercover Root agent.
