After five hours of successive failures, Fay finally stopped asking for Meng's help. She climbed on to her bed and lay on her belly with a bored look on her face as she began to count aimlessly.
"One, two, three, four..."
Her voice trailed off as she suddenly lost it, and began to feel more bored by every number. Time passed as Fay continued counting with half shut eyes.
"A thousand and one, a thousand and two, a thousand and three..." Fay wanted to cry as she rolled to her back and began to stare at the ceiling while counting.
"My rejection has really made you a shell of yourself, eh. Ah, that's exactly why I, the almighty blood fairy is so well known by even the kings. My rejection is the worst type of punishment." Meng said as she flew into the room with a smug smile on her face.
"Really, I really feel like shoving you into an eight bladed revolving fan to ease the boredom. Maybe plucking off your feathers one by one would help me against this boredom, right." Fay said with a crazy look in her eyes as she looked over to the blood fairy.
"No way I'll let you do that!" Meng protested as she floats inches away from Fay who had instantly disappeared from sight.
"Let's play catch the red fairy!" Fay's voice echoes with a murderous tone as the air suddenly shifted, making Meng lose her balance mid-air.
<Basic Skill — Air Bend>!
Meng felt a cold shiver run up her spine as the air around her suddenly turned violent. She broke into a cold sweat as her little eyes dashed around in search for Fay.
<Radar>!
Suddenly her sight turned gray as she looked around slowly. Instantly a bright golden ball shot out before her sight, the strange energy instantly grew in size making Meng turn and run.
Fay!
Slash Slash Slash!
Various cut marks strangely appeared on the wall and floor as Fay made her way up to Meng while shooting various piercing air attacks in her invisible form.
Meng furiously roared before stomping her feet to the ground and using the force to shoot up into the air. Looking back with her <Radar> active and seeing the large ball of energy rushing towards her, Meng grinned before pointing her finger at Fay and casting a spell.
<Magical Debuff – Rush Breaker>!!!
Fay frowned as her dash was unnaturally stopped by an invincible force which knocked her into another room. She crashed into a desk as her vision blurred while her invisibility was instantly interrupted.
Meng used the golden opportunity to cast an <Advanced — Binding> spell on Fay. She heaved a sigh of relief before looking around herself.
They had stumbled into an room during the fight. There was a small bed at the other end of the room, a chair and table were put at the far end of the room while an axe was at the middle of the room.
The axe had the engraving of a flying dragon on it's blade, while the handle was marked with various dull runes. It was placed inside a tough looking glass cylinder with a circle at the top and lines running down to the ground from it.
Meng flew up to the cylinder and inspected it curiously. She looked around to find a golden slate where the words <Dragon Claw> were carved into it.
At that moment Fay had already got up and she had a crazed look on her face. Her eyes fiercely contracted as she instantaneously fired two piercing <Wind Beams> which closed up with Meng at a frightening speed.
"Oh boy."

Bang!
At that moment, Luke was sent into the air as blood streamed down his lips to the ground. He crashed face-flat into the earth, digging a car sized crater with his face.
The <Demon-god Talisman> was in a really bad state compared to Luke who only sustained blows to his pride. He had lost a head while various injuries and bruises were all over his face, making him look like some sort of battered ram.
Halifax smiled as he sent a devastating sideways slash to the <Demon-god Talisman> which instantly tore off it's other head, ending it's pitiful life. He pants es he looked down to his son with admiration.
Just hours ago, Halifax and Martha were forced into passive while only Luke was left to strike. The demon-god tried to get rid of Luke, but was overwhelmed by the latter's power which rendered his 'petty' strikes useless.
The battle which was a stalemate for half an hour suddenly turned into a shocking one sided which just a single punch from Luke which tore off the Talisman's right head.
"Finally, we killed it. All the hidden treasures are now mine!" Luke rose from the ground excitedly as he received the coins, potions and talisman.
'Well even if it's stealing, as long as no one I care about is affected I am fine with it.'
'Besides, such riches shouldn't be left here.'
Luke thought greedily as he looked at the heaps of treasures which glowed brightly in his eyes. He composed himself and looked up to his father.
"Father, since miss Martha didn't contribute much to the battle, she'll be only entitled to a third of all this riches."
Martha suddenly froze in her steps as she felt something fishy. Her eyes narrowed as she then turned back to face Luke who was staring at her with her energy being imposed upon her.
'So overbearing...' Martha thought as she instinctively shrinked back.
Royalties are a band of thieves!
Luke grinned slyly before looking back to the treasure with a hungry glint in his eyes as he began to drool slightly.
'Today, we've won this battle, but the war has just begun...'
Luke clenched his fists as he looked at the dead demon-god laying on the ground.
'This war is far from over...'
