No one had thought that a daughter from such a low wealthy family could attract the youngest businessmen in the city and get the support from the wealthiest family in the capital. They all waited but they didn't get an answer from the Powells, this made them know that the family wanted to inform them so that they couldn't send their daughters to Gerald's bed.
On the other hand, the parkers were shocked when they heard that.
"Aurora, what's happening?" Mr Parker asked.
"What's happening?" she asked back innocently causing everyone at the table with her to shake their heads.
"Mr Gerald Powell is married," Liam said.
"Oh, okay," she answered as she continued eating her desserts as if they weren't talking to her.
"Why did Mr Gerald Powell ask you to have the first dance with him during his special day?" Faith asked causing Aurora to halt her eating for a while before continuing eating.
She ignored the latter as she didn't see the need to tell them.
"If his wife sees you don't you think that you will be inviting unwanted trouble?" Arielle asked causing Aurora speechless.
