Chapter 34

[A/N: I Will start writing a long chapter once I am done with this chapter!]

"There are only three S.T.A.R.S. members left now..."

"Captain Wesker, Jill, and myself..."

"We don't know where Barry is."

As the unknown man spoke those words, Agent Coulson found that his view changed to be looking over the door where three people rushed into the mansion exhausted.

"Is everyone alright?" Asked the woman who was nearly killed by the dogs.

Coulson could only assume that this must be the 'Jill' person that was referred to just seconds ago, now he just had to determine the identities of the two men.

"Barry...where's Barry?" Asked one of the men who was wearing a green vest with a knife over a white shirt.

The three looked between themselves before the other man spoke, "He's..."

Before he could finish his sentence, the woman said, "No..."

BAM!

Before the woman could finish her sentence, the three heard a loud gunshot come further within the mansion.

"What was that?" Asked the woman.

"I'll go check it out," The man with the green vest volunteered.

"Alright. Jill and I will stay and secure this area," the other man replied.

Just as the man with the green vest turned around and began walking, the woman, Jill, spoke.

"Chris...Take care."

And with a nod in response, Chris walked through some double doors.

[A/N: I know that in the game Chris responds with 'Yeah' but I find it to be a waste of breath, your thoughts?]

Suddenly thrust into the body of the man in the vest, Coulson couldn't help but collapse into one of the many chairs in the dining hall he found himself now in.

"I possessed him?" Coulson asked out loud as he tried to adjust to the new body that he found himself in.

After calming himself down, Coulson regained his composure and unsheathed the large bowie knife that was on his vest as he looked around the dining hall.

He tried to go back to the mansion's entrance, but found that some kind of invisible force was stopping him from doing so!

No matter how much he tried, his only option was to continue forward, deeper into the mansion…

Walking further down the dining hall, he walked through a door that sat at the other end of the dining hall and found himself in yet another hall.

Walking down the hall, he turned around a corner and froze in his place as he heard a sickening crush of something being eaten and watched as what appeared to be the back of a man consuming the corpse of another man…

The cannibal suddenly stopped eating as it let out a growl and slowly turned around to look at Coulson!

The cannibal's face was covered in blood, was as pale as a corpse, had gray eyes, and cracked skin!

But just as the cannibal lunged at Coulson, Coulson brandished the knife and dodged to the side before impaling the knife deep into the skull of the cannibal!

[Congratulations on obtaining the achievement 'First Kill'!]

[You have been rewarded with Minor Danger Sense for completing 'First Kill'!]

"Huh? Danger Sense?" Coulson asked out loud confused on how fast he got such a good reward!

If what it's called is what it does then this kind of skill would be a massive boost to the strength of Shield if we can exploit it!

But the bad thing is, Shield can't do anything about other unknown parties from exploiting this as well!

Which meant very bad things!

Calming himself down, Coulson bent over and searched both of the corpses for anything of importance and was surprised to find that once he touched the body that was being eaten, information appeared in his head...

This corpse belonged to one of his team members, Kenneth.

And on his body, Coulson found some kind of film that needed a video player to be able to watch it.

Putting the film in his vest pocket Coulson walked back to the Mansion entrance and to his surprise, he was able to open the door revealing that the two other S.T.A.R. members that were supposed to be here were gone...

What was left behind was a simple handgun lying on the ground...

Once Coulson picked up the handgun, he went back through the two doors and continued down the hall, further into the mansion.

Further down the hall past the corpse of Kenneth, Coulson walked through yet another door and found himself in another hallway that he cautiously walked down until he found himself in a small area with stairs going up to another floor in the mansion and corpse to the right of the stairs up against the wall.

The corpse had signs that its injuries caused instant death...

Finding nothing on the body, Coulson walked up the stairs.

'What exactly happened in this place?' Coulson questioned.
