The Evolving Ultimate Gene

In the year 2022 wars erupted all around the earth and in a few months World War 3 began.

Two years passed and the year 2024 came, the world war ended but there were no real victors as everyone was the loser because only 20% of the entire human race survived. The remainings survivors formed a new government. A government that united all the races under one name - Utopians.

In the same year, the Utopian Government ordered the construction of a new city, a city that in the future would be the capital city of all the Utopians and where everyone could live in peace and harmony. A city that would symbolise a beginning of a new era – Eden!

Six more years passed and Eden was finished in the year 2030; the Utopian Government called for every single Utopian to move into Eden.

People from all over the world started moving and in the year 2031, 95% of the remaining population had moved into the new capital city – Eden, while the remaining 5% had no wish to live by the side of the people that they were fighting prior of the establishment of the Utopian government.

The humanity slowly got back on its feet and by the year of 2100, the humanity made a complete recovery. The economy boomed and the technology surpassed the old one by miles.

Fifty more years passed and in the year 2150, the Utopian scientists found the object from beyond the milky way heading for earth. The utopian government immediately ordered for the development of shields that would protect both the planet and the capital city.

In the year 2200, the technology was developed and the unknown object entered the milky way. The scientists once again looked at the incoming object and found out that the incoming object was a spaceship. The Utopian government suspected that they would be invaded by whatever was inside the spaceship and they ordered a new project to be started; they ordered for a superweapon to be built. A superweapon so strong that it would be able to eliminate the threat once it arrived at their doorstep.

The lead scientist of this project was named Yu Fen.

In the year 2216, the shields were installed both around the earth and Eden.

In the year 2219, a prototype of the secret project was finished.

In the year 2220, a vessel from the sky broke through the barrier around the earth and landed two hundred kilometres away from Eden. The moment the spaceship broke through the shields was the moment Yu Fen knew that the shield had no chance against the aliens. He rushed out of the lab and back home at the same time the Utopian government sent a squadron of soldiers to the location of the landed ship.

Once soldiers came close enough to the aliens they opened but when the bullets hit the bodies of the aliens, the bullets simply fell off. The aliens turned their heads and saw a squadron of Utopian soldiers.

"&*&^* (&*(," one alien said before rushing towards the soldiers. The Utopian soldiers paled but they kept shooting at the alien. The alien didn't dodge a single bullet as he knew that he could not be damaged by them. He swiftly appeared before the humans and in less than ten seconds killed them all.

At this same time, Yu Fen came back to the lab with an infant in one hand and a handgun in the other. He walked through the lab door and was greeted by a female voice, "Yu Fen! Where were you?!"

He pointed a gun at her, "Get out of the lab and you will keep your life!"

"What?!" she shouted out and raised her hands up.

"Get the fu*k out if you want to keep your life!"

She nodded, "Alright, just don't kill me," she said with a quivering voice.

He nodded and the woman left the lab. He didn't look back at her, he simply walked forwards. After passing through two more doors, he saw a young scientist walk in his direction.

"Head scientist!"

Yu Fen raised his gun, "Don't talk and don't ask questions just get out and you will get to keep your life!"

The young scientist gulped down his saliva and nodded; Yu Fen continued on; he reached his destination without having a need to kill a single scientist, as they all ran away when a gun was pointed at them.

Yu Fen walked through the last door and saw a machine in front of him. This machine was the prototype he created.

He approached the prototype and placed his son inside. He powered up the machine and looked at his son with a smile. "Live well my son! I don't know where you will end up, but I hope in that new place you will find a home for yourself," he sighed. "It is a shame that you will never know your roots. But that doesn't matter. As long as you can live. It is more than enough for me. I love you, my son!" The man pulled the handle, electricity filled the air and the little infant disappeared from the machine.

"What are you doing Yu Fen!" a voice said from behind him. He turned around and saw the woman he let go earlier and by her side, he saw two men with their guns pointed at him.

"Did you activate the superweapon?" the woman asked.

Yu Fen shook his head and laughed, "This is not a superweapon, it is a teleporter."

The woman narrowed her eyes, "What are you talking about? We were tasked with creating a super weapon and not the teleporter and besides I have seen the schematics you have given us, we were making a superweapon and not a teleporter."

Yu Fen shrugged his shoulders, "You can shoot me to death, I have fulfilled my goal."

"Your goal? What was your goal?! Where is that baby that you came in with?"

Yu Fen smiled and raised his gun, pointing it to his head. "I suggest you commit suicide as well after all our shields won't be able to hold these things away from this city. Goodbye Julie!"

POW! The man fell to the ground dead.

When the son disappeared from the machine something unbelievable happened because the machine was only a prototype it managed to mutate the child and awaken the secret genetics of the human race within him. The child now possessed the Evolving Ultimate Gene.

The machine not only awakened the gene within but also did its primary function, it teleported the infant to a new and unseen planet; to a doorstep of a house. When the child appeared, he immediately started to weep.

This sobbing of a child was heard by the people living in the house, a woman opened the door and on the doorstep, she saw a sobbing baby on the cold hard ground.

She blinked her eyes and gave a weeping baby a strange look as she found him strange as the baby was too different to her. She who had blue skin, a long tail and blue bent horns that were also her ears.

But even though he was different, she still ended up picking up the child.

The moment the infant was picked up, he immediately stopped crying and looked at the woman, he blinked his beautiful black eyes and giggled happily. This action made her smile. For some reason, she felt a connection with a strange infant. She hugged him tightly, "From now on you will become my child." The child giggled in response. She smiled once again and with the child in hands walked into the house and as she walked inside, she heard a voice call out to her, "What was that sound earlier?"

"We were blessed with a child, darling!" She responded happily.

The man furrowed his eyebrows and shouted out from the other room, "But you are infertile, how can that be?!" He walked into the room and saw a beautiful smile on his wife's face.

He lowered his eyes and saw a baby sleeping peacefully in her arms but once he saw his skin colour and hair colour, he frowned, "What is this? Is he sick?"

"No, that's not the case, he was crying so healthily just now. He is a very healthy baby boy. More importantly, what should we name him?"

"Are you sure about this? What will the others say about this? And what if the peacekeepers find about this?" he said with a frown.

The woman shook her head, "He is a little different but who cares!"

"We are taking a very huge risk, you know that right? If the peacekeepers find us then…"

The woman narrowed her eyes, "We will hide him from those monsters!"

The man looked at his wife with disbelief but he still nodded his head, "Alright."

"What should we name him? The woman repeated her question.

The man looked at this child thair laid in her arms, he thought about a proper name, then he looked down and spoke, "How about Kuro?"

"Kuro?" She tilted her head in confusion.

"That's right, his hair is black so Kuro, it also has a meaning black from the ancient tongue," The woman nodded her head, She also thought that this name was fitting. The child's black and eyes and his black hair. She smiled at the little infant laying peacefully in her hands and said, "From now on your name is Zai Kuro."

From that day on a child from earth was adopted into an alien family of Zai Drao and Tchi Ya and in a blink of an eye, ten years have passed.

Zai Kuro on his tenth birthday sat in his room and tried to read a book written in the native language of the people of this planet - Zqer. This language Zqer was very hard for Zai Kuro to learn. He first began learning the written language of Zqer when he was seven but in the three years, he was still stil at the beginner level.

"The Evolving Ultimate Gene is now active," a sudden voice in his head sounded.
