The Bitter Reality (2)

~•Aden•~

"I am only saying this, Aden, because you have every right to know what went down with you."

Her words left me not only to be at a loss, but utterly confused as well. I couldn't understand what she was trying to say. To some extent her explanation about my wings was understandable. But what was she going on about my powers? All this while, I thought that it was just me. It was just how I was: someone who was not strong.

Now here she was, stating otherwise. There was one thing which I knew for sure. Amara would never say anything unless she was sure of it. And if that applied to what she was saying now too, I didn't know what to think of.

"Can you please explain what you are trying to say here?" I stared straight into her eyes, asking for an explanation. It was much needed.
