Lore of Chi

"Long, long ago the land of Chi there lived dragons they taught cultivation, gifted us with speech and dragons greatest treasure was the crystal. However, a human known as "The corrupted emperor" Who was once a student of The first dragon leaders only to betray them by stealing a part of the crystal Dragon leaders and corrupting through this use of black magic came forth a plague known as "The shadows" With corrupted emperor being at the heart of this mindless plague, it spread like wildfire multiplying as it consumed life and turned everything it touched into stone and the land barren of life. The dragons fought for us as best they could, but it wasn't enough that when Dragon leaders stood fast against the corrupt emperor to protect the crystal, for they knew if crystal fell all life was doomed that when one of the leader dragons concentrated all his power into the crystal and...Blasted the shadows away and imprisoned the corrupt emperor in crystal. Everyone who was turned to stone came back to life, except the dragons all that was left of them was crystal and the last dragon leader.

And yet what should have been an inspirational moment, where humanity united for the dragon's sacrifices but instead humanity began to fight over the crystal and the last dragon leader believing obtaining both would grant vast immorality, wealth. The last dragon leader felt saddened and chose to flee with crystal and never been seen since.
