The Ball

"Yeah, black hair like it was midnight and gold eyes with a tint of purple and red. It was a weird combination but I found it looked great on him."

"Then, can you tell me what name is it on your bracelet."

Eleanor ask as she met her friends questioning gaze.

"Didn't you just look at it a while ago? But okay, sure, it's Rex. Just Rex."

Delilah watched her friends looking at Eleanor with questions before looking back at her. She could feel their confusion and she was getting nervous for something she doesn't know.

"Okay. You guys are making me nervous. What is all about this question out of nowhere?"

"Last question. How did you found out the Brian was your 'Beloved'?"

"Umm...because my element reacted to him? Okay, you guys, hahaha, this is funny, you either tell me why are you asking me this question and stop letting me hang on suspense."

Delilah gave a nervous laugh as she looked at her friends.

"Wish we could tell you but at this point, were afraid of saying something because were also unsure of what we've seen."

"You mean, seeing the bracelet that Rex made with his name engraved to it? I don't think that's weird at all, in fact, I found it memorable because it reminds me of something I've experienced."

"No, that's not what Ethan meant!"

Acacia was ready to tore her hair out of her scalp. She doesn't know how to break this news to her friend when they don't even know if the secret they had found is the answer to their questions.

"What about this. You come with us this weekend's Ball and we will answer all of your questions on that day. What do you think?"

Delilah glanced at her before nodding her head.

"Deal."

"Are you guys sure this isn't over the top?"

Delilah carefully asked as Eleanor finished putting her slightly wavy hair on a beautiful half pony tail style. Fresh flowers preserved by magic was carefully inserted on her twisted strands, making her look like a fairy.

"Done!"

The two women brought in front of the humongous mirror as she inhaled a sharp breath. Although she dresses herself but it was nothing like now. Standing in front of her was a beautiful woman wearing the most gorgeous dress she had ever seen.

Her gown was custom made designed by Eleanor and Acacia and supervised by Amy. The gown was light and soft so it was very comfortable to wear. The top was style din heart shape off shoulder with long sleeve as the back had a v drop till her waist, showing her soft and milky skin. The waist were narrow, showcasing her small waist, and popped into a balloon gown.

The color was in a shade of honeydew green, making her emerald green eyes shine like a jewel. The skirt had design that of a leaves from the bottom all the way to the top as it climbed like vines wrapping themselves around her torso as they twinkle every time she moves. Her heels, but not so high, had the same design and color to match the dress. Her accessories were minimum while her hair was adorned by small flowers.

"After a long days of planning, Acy and I decided to make a dress that will put you in a spotlight. The leaves are the highlights as you are an elf so putting leaves as the design showed that you're the child of the forest."

"Thank you. Truly. This is.... amazing... beautiful... and I have no words to express them."

Delilah was choked on her friends thoughtfulness when they declared that they would be making her the most beautiful dress ever. And truly, they didn't disappoint her. At all.

"What can we say, we have to make our princess the most beautiful princess of all the entire world. She had never attended any ball parties and always uses as an excuse. So now, go show 'em the beauty of the elfs and as the beloved child of the forest."

Delilah laugh before going down the stairs as her parents and families called them.

The day of the ball finally came and her nerve's were acting up. It has been a long time since she had attended a formal ball but relieved herself as she saw Eleanor and Acacia smiling at her before going down the stairs.

That's right. I'm not alone. I have Elly, Acy, Dyl and Ethan with me and so are my parents and families and the citizens of the Elfen Kingdom. I'm not alone. The forest is with me. I can do this. Delilah thought to herself as she took a big breath and opened her eyes, ready to take a step and leaving behind her ugly past.

"Where's my sister?"

Dynox asked as Eleanor and Acacia came down. They both smiled cheekily before running to their mates before turning around, putting their whole entire focus on the top of the stairs which is empty.

"Make sure you don't drop your jaws. Hold them tight because Delly will surprise you big time. Aunty El, why did you hid such a beauty and not letting Delly dressed up? Who knew she hid all of those underneath her business fashion."

"Well, what can I say, she took up after me."

Elyria laugh as she understood what Acacia meant. If she was beauty, Delilah was even more the most beautiful girl she had ever laid her eyes. She had seen an outstanding amount of beauties all over the world, given her job as a supermodel and businesswoman, but nothing could compare to her daughters beauty. Not being biased but speaking with true experience and it seems like both of her daughter's friends also agreed with her.

Finally, after a long time of waiting, a figure in a dress of the lightest shade of green appeared as gasped from all around the castle were heard. The dress was beautiful but the wearer was even more enchanting.

It looked like a goddess had came down to visit her people. She was that gorgeous.
