The Devilish Charm of the alpha

On that night under the bright full moon, princess Minda's life changed forever.

It was a dark night when the princess left the palace to go take a walk in the woods unknown of the possible dangers she was brave and very skilled that's why she was not afraid of going there alone.

She walked and walked and unlike never before, the moon shone over her head reflecting on the tress as she stared at it and that is when she finally heard it, the howling of wolves and she pulled out her sword.

'Nothing to be afraid of, it's just normal wolves" she said to herself as she heard a branch broke and she jumped.

That is when she saw a huge group of people with claws and glowing eyes howling at a bonfire and she swallowed deeply in fear.

'The legends they.... they are true" she said to herself while trembling then one of the guys with a hood turned and looked at her,

"Oh no," she said to herself as she turned around and ran but a huge grey wolf came after her and jumped in her way so she would not run any further.

He growled at her and she pointed the sword at him with her hands trembling as he jumped and was about to bite her but the guy with the black hood kicked the wolf to the ground and stood in front of her.

He then looked at the princess and the only thing that she were bright golden eyes.

"Leave if you don't want to die tonight human," he said as he covered his mouth then she ran away crying and the fallen wolf got back up as the guy in the hood stared at the princess.

The grey wolf then transformed into a young boy.

"Master, why did you let her go?" the guy asked,

'Because I just found my Luna" he responded with a wicked smile then the grey wolf gasped.

"But she is a human, this has never happened before," the boy said,

'Well according to the law whomever the alpha chooses as the luna then that person will be his lifelong mate whether she likes it or not" he replied then he howled at the moon and walked away while the girl rushed back to the castle of Nevinnia not knowing what to do or say.

Scared princess Minda kept quiet about what she saw that night for the sake of her family for she did not want any harm to come to them.

Minda's belief and everything she have ever learned about had changed that very night.

The thoughts about other supernatural creatures being real came to her mind and from that day onward the girl got nightmares every night.

After the full moon, the very guy that laid eyes on her started working at the palace the very next day as the princess's personal bodyguard appointed by the king himself for he was a werewolf by night and a knight by day.

A few days after the incident the princess got called one bright morning to the throne room by her father.

"Good morning father, good morning mother," she said as she entered the throne room,

"Morning my child, we have noticed that you have been a little different lately and we do not know why, we have also heard rumors about wolf attacks lately so for your protection we appointed this fine knight here as your personal bodyguard," her father said as the young man walked in and she left staring at him as he bowed to the king Venard and queen Livna.

"Your highnesses," he said in a soft tone,

"Sir Amias this is our daughter princess Minda," the king said then he bowed to her too,

"There is no need for that," she said quietly as he looked at her with sharp eyes and she stared at him then swallowed deeply.

"Do you have a problem with having a bodyguard dear?" her mother asked then she sighed,

'No mother" she responded,

"It will be an honor serving you my lady," he said,

"Thank you I am Minda" she replied as she brought forth her hand and he shook it,

'Amias" he replied as they bowed to each other,

"Nice to meet you Amias," she said,

'The pleasure is mine my lady" he replied as the king and queen got up.

"Well, time for us to get breakfast, come on child," the king said then the princess sighed and followed them to the dining hall while Amias walked behind her with his eyes glowing gold.

"Soon enough you will be my queen," he said to himself with a wicked smirk.

As they arrived at the dining table and she sat down and drank some water.

'If I told you guys what I saw the other night, you guys will probably laugh at me" she said to herself as the knight stared at her.

'Sis do you believe in werewolves?" her brother asked as he walked into the dining room in a hurry.

"Why do you ask that Oliver?" she asked her 15 years old brother and only other sibling.

'The weird howlings that we have been hearing, wolves attack, nothing like this has ever happened in our kingdom before, if we can find one werewolf then we can prove that they do exist" he responded and the princess looked at him sternly.

'There is no such thing as a werewolf, you go out looking you will only find trouble" she said,

'But sis" he replied,

'Enough we will not discuss this Oliver, please I am only warning you for your own good" she said to him as he began eating her breakfast.

"Do not go looking for trouble trust me they are horrible things in these woods, things that we humans would be glad to kill or stay away from" she said and Amias eyes widened.

"You are probably right sis," her brother said as he began eating his breakfast then she frowned.
