The Woman In Black.

Queen Ariadne's POV.

We sat down in the harem waiting for the mysterious woman to show up. The women were all eager to see what she look like, but I wanted to hear what she would say.

My heart started racing when the Emperor's presence was announced. He entered the harem with Prince Edward. When I thought about what the woman will say about me, I became restless. If she decides to tell them the truth about my identity, then it will be over for me.

I say a little prayer and hope that she talks to me first before saying it aloud. I might be able to convince her as a woman.

"Mother, is everything set?" I heard the Emperor ask. He did not look at me. I wondered if it was a new habit he cultivated a few minutes ago.
