Sinopse

The spring day comes as new rain, warm and light, embracing the sense of freshness that abounds. There is hope in the spring day, hope in the new green growth that flourishes upon the earth. The warmth in the breeze that wasn't there a few days ago. The sense that the days are becoming lighter and brighter. And then there is the bud upon the optimistic branch, brave enough to bring forth such delicate leaves and open them into the sunshine. It was a perfect morning but not so perfect for Ava Khalil who wakes up to discover that her company was being bankrupt, she was on the verge of collapse and would do anything to get her company running again. Ava stumbled upon a business tycoon known as Seth, a very popular and influential man who can ignite her company with a snap of a finger. Ava has to be meticulous because signing a contract with Seth is like making a deal with the devil.

Chapter 1Chapter 1

"But this wasn't part of the deal YOU TRICKED ME, the contract was all a lie. You don't know who you are messing with, Seth." Mr. Griffin said aggressively as he was escorted out by the guards.

Griffin is the CEO of Auto Cars Mobil but experienced a massive loss because his new shipment of cars is now at the bottom of the ocean and his company was in the brick of collapse.

He was swamped and confused — so he signed a contract with Seth, which went smoothly for a year. His company's name was in every magazine! In the USA from Sun Power, Fortune, Boomerang Businessweek, and lots more.

Griffin was happy that his company was running again and his making more profits every single day. He felt on top of the world until he received a phone call from Seth telling him he was fired.

It all sounded like a joke — there's no way you can fire the CEO of a company, even the government can't do that.

It was like a beautiful dream turned into a nightmare when Griffin stormed into Seth's office.

Seth was patiently waiting for Griffin, before he could finish his sentence Seth cuts in and explained how the contract was a fake, instead of signing a partnership deal he signed an ownership deal.

Due to the stress and frustration, he was facing, Griffin didn't read the contract he was signing. Now that he thinks about it.

He immediately understands why Seth spent millions of dollars reviving the company, he didn't do it because they were partners, he did it because he was now the CEO of the Auto Cars Mobil.

Griffin's hands were shaking, and his eyes getting red and watery he started cursing Seth, but before he could lay a finger on him the security guards came and escorted him out.

Seth sat down on his desk with crossed legs, he was 6'1 feet tall, had blue eyes, a pointed nose, a muscular body, and dark hair. He was every girl's dream, some will call him THE AMERICAN DREAM.

"Who's next." He asked his secretary Nessa Wilson with a smile on his face.

Ava Khalil is a young, smart, and independent woman who works hard despite life setbacks. She always wanted to be the CEO of her own company, and nothing can stop her from achieving that dream.

Ava recently bought a building that was auctioned for sale in Bronx, NY, she was able to purchase it for $10 million.

And was lucky to get it for that amount because most New York ballers were not at the auction. It was an old and crappy building in a lively neighborhood, but with a little work.

She's sure to get it done and attract potential customers, Ava has always loved fashion designing it's been her dream and passion to be like the great Alexander McQueen.

Ava was able to pull it off in two years and finally made a name for her company. It's been a rough ride but thanks to Macy King, her manager who always brings up a solution to every problem they faced.

Macy is always supportive, hyperactive, and focused on achieving the goal of the company. She'll eliminate the threat before it becomes a threat, Macy recently stopped Ava from signing a contract with Travis Dickson, CEO of Travis Airways.

He wanted to become a shareholder in "Fashion World" Ava's company, but he had other intentions, once he becomes a shareholder and invest a lot of money in the company.

He'll knock on the door someday with a contract saying they should sign the company over to his name, or his going to take his shares from the company and watch it crumble.

Macy was curious about the request, so she snooped around a bit and found out about the Metal Chain company that Travis took over in Sierra Leone.

He kept everything hidden, but she as connections around to help her get the information she needed.

Travis was a bad boy wearing a million-dollar suit with a sexy smile on his face, but he knows how to play the game.

Business in New York is like a chess match, once a company is fast rising and doing well some multimillionaire or billionaire will want to purchase it.

If you don't accept the deal they will bring in a profitable contract you can't resist but once you sign that deal you've indirectly sold your company to them, it's just a matter of time before you realize you're no longer the CEO but an employee of your own company.

Lucky for Ava, Macy didn't let Travis pull the last pawn and kept him from checkmating.

It was a heavy storm, thunder crashing and lightning striking.

"Don't you just love the rain?" Ava asked Macy who was reading Sun power magazine.

"Yeah sure… The rain…" Macy replied as she flipped to the other page.

Ava knew Macy loved reading the magazine, she gets trapped in there like it's another world pulling her in.

Ava smiled as she turned her head back to the window, her blue eyes matching the color of her suit with her sexy pink lips and pointed but small nose. She has a slim, thick figure which got most guys drooling over her when she hits the gym.

Macy was just like Ava, but she had brown eyes, red lips, and a slim thick figure, but she had more ass than boobs, she is also 4 inches taller than Ava.

"Have you called Aiden?" Macy said, breaking the silence with the question Ava has been trying to avoid all day.

Aiden was Ava's boyfriend, they have been together for 3 years, and it has been a lovely relationship until Aiden took over his dad's company in Tokyo, he barely has time for Ava, but he calls four times a week to check up on her.

"No I haven't" Ava shrugged as she answered the question.

"Relationship issues?"

"I don't know Macy, but the distance is tearing us apart" Ava was still staring out the window.

"Let's go out!" Macy said, putting down the magazine she noticed that Ava was a bit gloomy and wanted to cheer her up over lunch.

"I don't think you noticed, but it's raining,"

"I don't think you noticed that we have a car." Macy smiled as she holds Ava's hand, dragging her to the parking lot.

.

Macy drove a Porsche 911, Carrera, she got the cabriolet model which cost about $119,300.

"Ever had sex in a car?" Macy asked Ava with a smirk on her face.

"Seriously, are you going there right now?" Ava turned her head and saw the smirk on Macy's face. "You horny slut"

"Whaaaatttt I can't help it, it's raining, and some people out there are having sex right now, we are just two ladies driving under the rain, and you expect me not to feel a bit horny… Come on Avvvvvaa!" Macy was expressing herself as she put more pressure on the accelerator.

"I guess I do feel a little bit lonely," Ava said with a smile on her face because anytime she's with Macy they always have a good time together, they are like best friends who knew each other from kindergarten.

"Lonely, Nah, You need some dick in you."

"Seriously… What I need in me right now is a hot Espresso Macchiato." Ava said as she rubbed her elbow.

"Don't worry Avy I know just the place," Macy said as she took a right turn.

La Casa Del Caffè is the best coffee shop in the Bronx and also the right place for Ava to get her steamy hot Espresso.

They walked in and got a seat – the aroma coming from the kitchen almost made Ava's mouth watery, the coffee smelled lightly caramelized and almost nutty.

The sweet aroma filled the air and reminded her about the time Aiden took her to Sant' Eustachio II Caffé in Italy, she loved the cappuccino so much she asked the barista for the recipe, but he told her it was his mom's secret recipe and that left a tear on her eyes because you can't get a coffee that good in America.

The barista severed Ava and Macy their cup of coffee, Ava got an Espresso macchiato and Macy got a cappuccino. As he placed the order on the table, Ava clapped her hands and giggle like a little girl on Christmas getting a present.

"Happy now?" Macy asked Ava while taking a sip.

"Mucho mejor ahora gracias Macy," Ava replied in Spanish

"That's nice, can we talk about work now, Dora the explorer?" Macy said with sarcasm as she gave Ava a big smile.

"Si what's there to talk about the company is okay and the profit just went up by 40%."

Ava said with confidence as she took a big gulp of coffee.

"Yes, but I am thinking we need to expand,"

"Expand?"

"Yes expand, we can move up to real estate I know someone willing to sell a building for $20 million, it's big, the space is great, and we can get the attention of some rich-ass ballers," Macy said with a serious tone.

"$20 million, huh, are you sure about this?" Ava trusts Macy with every decision she makes and if Maci is sure about this then she's willing to purchase it.

"Yes am sure!"

"Okay great, we can go have a look tomorrow," Ava said with contentment.

Macy was happy about it and right after they left the coffee shop she called the real estate agent and booked a meeting.

Bambi and the Duke

Disowned for being a human, Vivian was taken in as a maid at the age of seven by the Carmichael household. Serving one of the most respected and elite pureblood families in Bonelake, there were rules. Rules that must be followed by all servants and maids. Like everyone else, Vivian was repeatedly reminded not to disobey the rules. But before she could learn to blend into the background like the other servants, the Duke's young son calls to her, “Bambi.” And all hell breaks loose. ----- "What? Never seen a bruise before?" Leonard scoffed at the girl. "Does it hurt?" Vivian asked, gently kneeling beside him and examining the several bruises covering his face. "Not that much." Remembering what her mother used to do when she got a bruise, Vivian brought her sleeve to her mouth and blew warm air on it before placing it on the boy's cheek, taking him by surprise. Leonard swatted her hand away, a hint of pink appearing on his cheeks embarrassed, "W-what are you doing?" "Mama told me this will make the pain go away," the girl held her hand close to her chest as she shared her past memory. "I’m not a child!” Leonard huffed at her. “I don’t think you’re a child,” she stared at him with a crystal-clear gaze. Taken aback, Leonard locked eyes with her for two seconds before shaking his head. “Don’t worry about it. They’ll heal in a day or two anyways," he reassured her before getting up and taking a seat at the table where his books were placed. "Odd girl," he muttered to himself as he pulled the top book from the stack and lost himself in it.

"Really? Or is it because last night affected you so much that you couldn't stand being around me?" "Don't flatter yourself, Snow. You didn't affect me at all." He smirked, stepping closer. "Is that so?" His fingers brushed my chin, tilting my face up. My pulse quickened. "We're at work," I snapped, swatting his hand away. "This isn't professional." "You're my wife," he murmured. "You're supposed to obey me at all times." I bit back a retort, a hint of rebellion flaring within. Slowly, I stepped closer, letting my fingers graze his chest. His smirk wavered for a second when his wolf reacted and Snow bit his lips. "Careful, Boss," I purred seductively. "Don't hurt those lips. I'm sure plenty of girls would love to kiss them." Snow leaned down, his lips brushing my ear. "And you? Are you dying for a taste?" Caught off guard, I hesitated, then regained my composure as I looked him in the eyes. "Unlike other girls, I have strong resistance against—" I didn't get a chance to finish when Snow's lips crashed onto mine with a fierce kiss that left me breathless. *************** MATURE CONTENT Participating in the Viral Book Call Contest.
