The Cursed Family: The Villainous Daughter

It was a stormy night. Flashes of lightning, booming sounds of thunder, and the heavy pour of the rain made the Chu Mansion look scarier than usual.

Perhaps due to the strong winds, some wires might have been damaged. The Chu mansion was engulfed in a blackout.

In this stormy night, a family of four gathered on a long table with lavish feast.

The only lights they have were the fragrant sets of candles on sophisticated candlesticks on the mahogany table. They were a wealthy family, so naturally they could have a backup energy generator, but the youngest of the family preferred to use the candlesticks instead. With this, the night became creepier than usual.

But not for this family.

On the head of the table was a very beautiful woman with long dark hair. Her seductive eyes could not make anyone guess her right age. Her flawless skin was that of a young woman in their late twenties. Her voluptuous body made her seem like a mature woman in her thirties. However, this beautiful and seductive woman has already passed her prime, she was a stunning forty-four years old woman with three daughters.

The thunder and lightning would lit up everyone's faces from time to time.

No one spoke on the table as the four beautiful women silently ate. Finally, the last piece of steak went to the woman's mouth. She put down her fork and wiped her mouth with a table napkin.

"I have something to announce."

The woman's voice was surprisingly sweet amidst the loud sound of thunder. Her voice echoed in the huge dining area.

Her three daughters silently put down their forks in a graceful manner, like how ladies from royalty moved.

The woman, Annie Chu Youngsten, half Chinese and half American, watched her three daughters' expressions. None of her three daughter looked alike.

Simply because they have different fathers.

The woman sighed, thinking of her three husbands who had passed away.

She first married a wealthy and handsome Chinese man at the age of twenty-two.

One year into their marriage, her first daughter, Jang Shin Ye, her English name Alliana, came to the world.

However, another year later, her husband died. She grieved with sadness and sorrow. Money was not a problem for a rich single mom like her. So she still maintained her beauty and allure.

Two years later, she moved on from her mourning and met another man.

She fell in love. Her second husband was a well-known businessman and a charming Korean. With him, her second daughter, Park Jin Su, English name Ariana, was brought to the world.

However, the tragedy of the past repeated. Her second husband died after two years of marriage.

This time, the beautiful Annie wept and cried alone every night. She thought she would never fall in love again, until two years later, the third handsome man who opened her heart appeared and made her love again.

A rich Scottish man married her and they had a daughter, the youngest, Angel Chu Youngsten.

But as if like a curse, her third husband died and left her.

This was a tragedy that hung upon her name. People talked about her and her family, saying that she was cursed. Some were convinced that she simply schemed to murder her three wealthy husbands to get their money and assets.

It was a total nonsense for Annie to kill her husbands for money, as Annie Youngsten was once Annie Chu. The only daughter of the rich and well known Chu family.

For years, after her third husband died, she promised to herself to not fall in love.

However, sweet Annie was easy to fall in love.

Despite the danger, she was like a seductive flame and she attracted a lot of moths. Those moths did not care if she was cursed, or if she had three daughters. All they see was her charming beauty and allure.

Thus, the sweet Annie who was filled with sorrow for the loss of her three husbands opened up her heart once more. She formed relationships with men, but none truly succeeded to become her fourth husband.

Until time passed and her three daughters had finally become adults.
