Bake The Cake!

Catherine was feeling excited. At exactly 5:30 PM, John's car was already parked in front of the Marigold Hotel. When John opened the door for her to enter, she hurriedly enters the car like an excited child.

John had already discarded his face mask and stared at Catherine's merry face a bit bewildered with her sunny countenance that used to be gloomy or poker face.

The car moved back smoothly into the highway.

"Hi John...," she moved towards him and kissed him on the lips. Then she sits back and fixed her eyes on the road outside.

Whoaaaa! John touches the area of his lips were her mouth landed.

Damn! He felt happy, it's one of those rare moments that Catherine openly shows her affection towards him and every time she does that it blows his mind away.

Sometimes he believes that the only way he can take control of Catherine is through sex, his total worth in her eyes was that he was skilled in bed and he can give her physical pleasure like no other, that was his only value to her.

Maybe he did have a tiny value in her heart, he wants to exploit that.

The whole ride was quiet, comfortable, and pleasant.

One hour and fifteen minutes later, they finally arrived at the Infinity Jade Tower building.

After John and Catherine entered the elevator, he attempted pulling her into his arms, she didn't object.

He embraced her and kissed her forehead.

A few minutes later the elevator opened they walked holding hands together towards the flat's main entrance.

After the door opened, John brought Catherine directly into his room.

"Come with me, I have something for you Catherine," they went to his closets and John opened 3 drawers. The first drawer contains at least 10 pairs of sexy lacy bra and lacy panties of different colors and textures, she was surprised to know that the bras were all D cup size, her exact size.

How did he know?

"It's all yours," he said.

She was speechless!

The other drawer contains ladies shorts and blouses that varies in colors and designs. The last drawer contains 10 pairs of dresses, one particular item of clothing that caught her eyes was of that of a flowing skirt and a matching sleeveless blouse with buttons on the front, it has orange and pink floral design detailing. It's so girly!

"You wanna try it? You can wear it, it's already clean. I ordered it all online. I'm not sure if they were the right size that fits to your body."

John looked at her face adoringly while he rubbed his hand on the small of her back.

Catherine picks up one pair of lacy bra and panties and also the flowery dress and went inside the bathroom in a hurry, she was excited to wear the new dress!

Everything is brand new and the fabric looks expensive!

She took a quick shower and wear the new clothing, they fit well on her body, just the perfect fit.

Awesome!

She watched herself in the mirror. She likes the dress, it's so classy and so comfy!

She exited the bathroom.

John was happy to see that the clothes he brought for her were exactly the right fit for her body.

"Just lovely Catherine!" he commented. "You looked even more beautiful!"

She rewarded him with a kiss on his lips to John's delight.

She seemed to be generous with her kisses today, he told himself loving it.

They exited the bedroom and he brought her to the kitchen, he donned the apron on her body and he took the baking ingredients and lined them up in the table.

"You know already where the baking utensils are located, Catherine. Now baked me a delicious yummy chocolate cake, wife!" he grinned and left the kitchen.

She smiled at him in return.

Catherine was puzzled, how on earth she can make a delicious moist chocolate cake on her first try? There's not even a single guide on how to bake a cake.

This is frustrating!

But her dilemma was solved soon enough when John returned a minute later with his tablet and a mouse with mouse pad.

He set up the tablet on its holder in the table and open the youtube channel. He browsed on some easy to follow baking videos, he chooses a five-minute video of a woman baking a chocolate cake and showed it to Catherine.

"Just follow what this lady is saying and doing, Catherine. Don't worry if your first try is a big failure. You can always improve your mistake in your second or third try, okay?" he caresses her hair affectionately.

Catherine was delighted and thoroughly grateful for his help and support. She leaned again and kissed him on his lips, this time John received her kiss and entered her mouth for a quick smoldering kissing session. John broke the kiss first, they were both breathless with desire after the kiss.

John kissed her forehead and get out of the kitchen.

"I will have to do some work in my office, call me if you need assistance or anything, Catherine. Enjoy baking your first cake!" he smiled lovingly at her and disappeared from her sight.

Catherine started gathering the baking utensils and washed them on the sink, then she prepared the ingredients for the chocolate cake, she was smiling broadly feeling excited with her first real baking experience.

"This is going to be fun!" she said loudly while watching the baking video three times.

After she got the hang of it, she started spreading butter evenly in the pan, add cocoa powder on the pan's surface until all sides and edges were covered, she set aside the pan. She took the mixing bowl and put flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, a teaspoon of salt, then she mixed them all together with the mixer after all the dry ingredients were mixed well, next is the wet ingredients. She pour the eggs, buttermilk, hot water, vegetable oil, then she mixed them all together with the mixer again.

After done with all the mixing, she poured the mixed ingredients into the single pan, that can accommodate a 3 inches moist chocolate cake.

She already heated the oven at 350 degrees, she put the pan into the center of the oven and close its lid. She will take it out after thirty minutes.

She starts preparing the ingredients for the frosting.

She adds cream cheese in the bowl, softened butter, and mixed them together. She adds cocoa powder, milk, and six cups of powdered sugar, and continue mixing them until she arrived at her preferred consistency.

Thirty minutes later...

She took out the pan from the oven and let it cool. After making sure that the cake was already cool she took it out from the pan and put it in a cake platter. Then she starts spreading the frosting on top and spreads it out to all surface of the cake.

She smiled after examining her masterpiece.

Fantastic! She made it with flying colors on her first try!

Actually thanks to John for his help and encouragement and to the woman in the video who guides her well.

The next thing to do is to taste it, but she doesn't have the nerve to taste it afraid it will only look nice in the outside but tastes bad in the inside.

She kept staring at her finished product, her fingers tapping on the table. Instead of wasting her time, she starts washing the dirty baking utensils, dried them with a piece of clean clothe and deposited them all back into the cupboard.

The table is now clean and free of clutter.

She continues staring at her moist chocolate cake as if it is the only thing that really matters to her right now.

She was amused, triumphant at the same time that she was finally able to bake a cake on her own.

That was easy!

John suddenly entered the kitchen and stared at her chocolate cake, his brows knitted together.
