"I want an apology, Mr. Reign," Evelyn stated and Lloyd laughed which fanned the flames of her anger.
"Apologize? To whom?" Lloyd asked. He would apologize to no one when he never did anything wrong. "Why don't you go ask your daughter who among us should be apologizing, Evelyn? Because you look to me like a confused woman who failed to see the truth and understand it even when you have seen it."
"I never really liked you for her," Evelyn said, balling her fingers into fists. He was less provocative in the last and she had also been him that way when walking in but now, he was different.
Lloyd laughed and walked back to where he sat before and sat down. The woman can go about talking all she liked, he wouldn't stand just to reply to her.
"Ms. Henshaw, if you are oblivious of the truth, I suggest you go back and know the truth before you can come back here and tell who should be apologizing to the other. I will apologize to no one."
